    tool has built in cutter which cuts 3mm straining wire easily--but I did not find it easy to use--it is big and heavy but I struggled to be truthful--it certainly isn't a breeze in use but I will put that down to my inexperience with this item--must add --it is solid and compresses the fittings well but it takes a little force to use--don't let this put you off purchasing this as with practice it should be fine--I have not used one of these before so that probably explains my comments

    Used to place 3mm wire along the fence. Good wire cutter and crimper but it is very stiff to use and crimping takes some effort.

    Slices through wire-rope like a hot knife through butter.PROS: Turns wire rope into spaghetti. Crimps like a champ. Strong, durable. Good quality.CONS: Too big to use with a single hand.I snagged this beast to cut and crimp wire-rope for hanging tarpaulin, curtains, and lights on my pergola. It turned a Herculean task into a breeze. I’m thrilled I got it because using pincers and pliers felt like trying to cut steak with a spoon. The only hiccup? It’s so massive that you need both hands and the help of your feet tootsies to hold the wire and get the job done. My hands are smaller than the little average. I recommend this item.

    I bought this to help replace my washing lines, I bought a length of plastic coated stainless wire with ferrules, cut it to size then crimped the loops on each end.Worked well.

    Wer mit Drahtseil-Verspannungen umgehen muss und für die Draht-Enden keine Schraubhülsen verwenden will, sondern fixe Hülsen, wird mit dieser soliden und dennoch preiswerten Crimp-Zange Freude haben.Die auf der Zange aufgedruckte Anweisung, die angibt, welche Löcher der Zange für welche Hülsen vorgesehen sind, ist unbedingt zu beachten. Die Nummern der Löcher sind nämlich nur Nummern und sind nicht gleichzusetzen mit der Dicke der Hülsen in Millimetern. Loch Nr. 3 bedeutet also nicht, dass es für 3mm-Aluminiumhülsen geeignet wäre, tatsächlich ist es Loch Nr. 4.Die Zange ist sehr gut ausgeführt, und durch den großen Hebel können die Hülsen ganz leicht gepresst werden. Wichtig ist das richtige Einlegen der Hülsen, worauf in der Gebrauchsanleitung deutlich hingewiesen wird.

    Die Presszange macht ihren Job. Für diesen Preis ist das eine recht ordentliche Qualität. Ich habe diverse Aufhängungsseile für Lampen gepresst und das Ergebnis ist zufriedenstellend. Besser presst eine professionelle Zange auch nicht. Das Handling für den Pressvorgang muss man sich bestenfalls austesten. Um eine allseitige und saubere Pressung zu erzielen würde ich empfehlen nach dem ersten Pressen die Zange umzusetzen und auf gleicher Höhe eine zweite Pressung vorzunehemen. Anschließend erhält man eine schöne runde und gleichmäßige Pressfläche.
