I really wish I had got this razor years ago. I had one about 20 years ago and loved it. Now that I have one today I will never go back. I will say, if it’s your 1st using this type of razor you will cut yourself but keep going, you will get the hang of it and be a pro in no time. I would start of shaving your legs 1st ladies then when you have that down to a tea, go to shave your pits. 🙂

I wanted to swap from "disposable" razors, so after doing a lot of research, I bought this one.... and live it!!!It's a nice weight (important for this type of razor), I love the colour and it's a nice size for my small hand.I think I replace the blade every 2-3 months when it starts to dull but knowing I'm not throwing plastic into landfill is a bonus!!

This is my first safety razor, after a few years of considering one. Bought and used with Astra Platinum (green) blades.Have had a few shaves out of it now, using a couple of blades. Started with legs, then under arms and eventually braved the bikini area. I'm very pleased overall. It's easier to manage than expected, and has a good length handle with grip so I'm confident with wet hands.The combination of razor and blade seem compatible for me and my skin, and whilst it needs a little more time than with a cartridge / disposable, it's a more satisfying experience overall and the results are significantly better. I have had a couple of minor clumsy moments catching myself with the blade, but they were during set up not the actual shave - can't blame the razor for that.Since buying the razor I've done some of the research I probably should have done before purchase. I'm not sure I'd have chosen this razor if I'd done that research beforehand, but that does the razor a disservice. Jungle Culture doesn't seem to be very well known in the razor world but I'm very happy with my purchase.The only real negative is that after relatively few, careful uses, a little paint has chipped away. I don't believe it has made sufficient contact with any other surface to warrant the chip, so I hope that isn't a sign it will deteriorate quickly. I bought this to last and will be disappointed if it has to be replaced soon.

Really good razor, a little heavy but I’m not that surprised. Came with a small box of razor blades so I won’t be worrying about running out of them anytime soon. Going to take some time to get a hang of using this razor but overall it’s incredible, I highly recommend.

I love this product. I have been slowly replacing all of my bathroom products with sustainable alternatives and this seemed to be the next step.I was cautious about the blades and read quite a few articles about people knocking themselves, but honestly it is so easy to use.I'd recommend doing a test run without a blade in to get used to the angle you need to hold it at (30-45*).Lovely color and very durable. Blades are extremely cheap, even the well known brands, so you'll definitely save money in the long run.The only downside is that you should ideally take it apart and clean it off after each use to keep it in good condition for even longer. But this doesn't take too long, it's just a bit different.Well worth the money!

With everything that I buy, I try to find the best option for the cheapest price. I did the same when I decided to try out a safety razor for the first time. I read reviews and stuff, but in the end I felt a lot of confusion so just decided on the color lol That being said this little gadget had a lot of positive reviews and looked sturdy enough. I'm happy to report that it is indeed sturdy. I was scared before my first shave, didn't want to cut myself, but everything went smoothly (pun intended), I found it easy to put in the blade and just with my regular shower gel could muster a nice finish. Since then I got a shaving cream, which I recommend as it makes the whole process easier. I wouldn't say that it helps with razor rush or ingrown hair, but it gets out the ingrown hair easier from my leg. So if you suffer from these as well, just be aware while this could help slightly, it's still not a solution. I could recommend BHA or AHA creams for that, or IPL if you want to get rid of your body hair.

It was a slow start as i clearly didn’t read the instructions properly and put it together wrong. This meant no matter what angle I used it just wouldn’t shave. I finally figured it out and it produces a lovely clean shave. I used to just shave on wet skin but this doesn’t have lubrication strips so it needs plenty of soap or shaving foam to stop irritation.I love the colour and it feels really sturdy so I expect it will last a long time. It’s a great product and id highly recommend it. The company selling this product has been in touch several times too with great after sale care and advice. I’ll be coming back again!

Well packed, in a nice box and with a cute little bag, It's a nice weight not to heavy or light. The colour is exactly like the picture it seems a really good quality.Only thing I recommend is different blades the one you get are good but not as sharp as ones I've had in the past, combined this with a good quality oil and it's perfect

Muy bueno. Ya tengo meses usándolo y hasta ahora no se ha despostillado ni oxidado. Tiene buen peso y es fácil de manejar, solo que hay que tener cuidado con las cuchillas extra que trae porque son extremadamente filosas. Tiene curva de aprendizaje.Ya he tenido varios rastrillos reusables y éste es el que me ha gustado más.

Color: rose pinkFirst Impressions:Firstly, the storage baggie it comes with is a coarse, jute-thick plastic, so this is not a plastic free set. However, the razor itself is exactly as advertised; all metal painted pastel pink. It's quite cute and very sturdy (it's heavy!). This ensures you don't need to use pressure to shave. The weight does all the heavy lifting for you.The handle was shorter than I expected. I guess it seems that way relative to the large size of the razorhead-- so different from disposeables. That will take some getting used to, but I'm someone who loves making big changes to be more eco-friendly.Blades:I purchased a set of Astra blades to use with this safety razor. It's such a relief knowing I won't have to buy razors anymore, and all I have to do is switch out the blades which can be recycled (or even buried/composted). I got 15 for like $3 and change, so I won't need to even buy blades for years with how sparingly I actually use razors.HONEST REVIEW after 1st Use:Installing the blade was easy, just make sure the pieces are stacked correctly and you're good to go. There's no up or down with Astra blades. Just sandwich it between the 2 head components.Before applying Eos Shea Better pomegranate and raspberry shaving cream to my underarms I exfoliated them with my usual soapy sapo (sapo is an african shower mesh-- the best shower cloth/sponge/loofah replacement you could ever dream of). I showered in warm water and wet the blade.These blades are SHARP and the razor is HEAVY, so you have to be very careful. The handle has almost NO GRIP so half of your energy and effort will go to making sure the razor doesn't slip out of your grasp. This is a major flaw, but i didn't drop the razor so I guess that's inconsequential at this point.DO NOT over-shave the area. Go over it maybe TWICE and each time make sure you run the razor under some warm water and reapply your cream. Then go over it again until the skin is smooth.I made the mistake of overshaving and boy did it burn when i washed off at the end! To soothe the skin, just rub on some coconut oil and it fixes up immediately. My pits have definitely been through worse--- they now feel perfectly fine. Coconut oil really is amazing.The results---AN AMAZINGLY close shave! My armpits are so smooth it's hard to believe. 1 because it's just one single blade in the razor, and 2, I didn't think I'd have any skin left intact-- it's a wonder I didn't butcher my poor pits into cold cuts tonight.Overall I am very very pleased with this purchase and feel confident that I'll get better at using this razor over time. My review went from 3/5 stars to 5/5 stars. After multiple uses, I got the hang of holding, using and caring for this razor. It has become a big part of my self care routine. The more you use it the more gentle the blades become and the less worried you will be about dropping it. Make sure you clean your blade and disassemble the razor after each use. Let everything dry before reassembling for the next shave.I used the razor on my pubic area (the mons only) for some ladyscaping and the results are fantastic.TMI ahead!;I was able to sculpt a delicate strip with precision. My skin has not been smooth like this since pre-pandemic days when I would get waxed! When shaving this area just be sure to exfoliate well beforehand, use a good cream, don't use any pressure. Always reapply cream before passing over the skin. Rinse out the razor after each pass for a truly close shave.The surrounding areas (inner thigh and belly) were easy. I recommend shaving these delicate parts after using the blade at least 4 times prior-- I find that the Astra blades are so good that they're too good when they're new!

Vraiment impressionnée par l'efficacité du rasage avec ce rasoir de sureté ! Ça fait une semaine que je me suis rasée, et ma peau est toujours aussi douce et fini les poils incarnés..De plus il est envoyé dans un beau coffret et une pochette de rangement trop mignonne. C'est un très bel objet qui est économique, écologiques.Plus jamais je n'achète de rasoir jetable en plastique !Essayer c'est l'adopter ! Je recommande ce produit.
