Bought one of these to work from home during 'covid'. I didn't want a full sized office desk as that would take up too much space. This table is an ideal size as it fits a laptop, with mouse to the side and space for some papers. Pushing the laptop to the back I can then use it for dining too!Having had one for a while I bought a second which has a tabletop fridge sat on it with no wobble at all so a sturdy piece of kit.Light enough to move around the dining area as the sun moves round or to get closer to the heater in winter etc.Easy to assemble - just put in two bolts per leg and tighten with the tool provided (an allen key). Unpacked, assembled and in use in no time at all.Not a 100% perfect finish on the ones I bought (some dust specks in the varnish on one, some missing varnish on the second) but I feel they are worth the price I paid (which included delivery), especially looking at some of the other similar products on the market.

A great product, well packaged at a good price and delivered quickly in two days rather than the several days scheduled. Hard to fault. It goes together easily and is sturdy and well finished. We bought it because it fits the small space available perfectly and is a proper height for a dining table.One thing to note that isn't apparent from the pictures - the joints in the table top are inline finger joints rather than butt joints and there are a lot. I feel that the pictures were taken in a way to hide this fact compared to other similar products that have butt joints. Finger joints are a method of using up smaller pieces of material by joining them together. It hasn't really affected our decision but may have if obvious or mentioned in the text and might not be noticed by some but I make small pieces so was immediately apparent to me. To be fair there is one side-on picture showing the effect on one of the table apron supports but other pictures of the top are at an acute angle or even maybe a little blurred.It doesn't really affect us for the tables purpose and is obviously a good solid product that will last but would have probably been 4.5/5 from our perspective.

A really nice table and chairs. The table was straight forward to put together and nice and solid. The chairs were very fiddly to put together and my only complaint would be that the legs were slightly wonk and needed manually adjusting (the legs were already attached to each other).Aside from the a very nice table and chairs that is mostly straight forward to put together.

It is quite difficult to find a compact kitchen table with proper chairs that will fit neatly underneath, this certainly fits the bill and the customer service I received from Megan at Hallowood was 10/10. The table was very easy to assemble and looks great in my kitchen with a bright (faux) pot plant, very sturdy but not too heavy too move for cleaning - I did put pads under the legs to protect the floor. As others have remarked the chairs do not impress as much but they are functional, we had a problem with the assembly diagram but once we were advised that we did not need to use the metal plates we were ok. I have used a pair of burnt orange chair pads from Dunelm as I did not like the suede effect fabric and the look needed a pop of colour. Fair value for money and I recommend both the Ledbury set and Hallowood the seller.

This may be small but is perfect for two people. It was relatively easy to assemble, although one of the chairs is a bit wobbly but not noticeable on carpet. For the price I was pleasantly surprised and it looks good and fits much better than the larger table it’s replaced. The table looks far better quality than I was expecting. Would happily buy more from this range.
