5.0 out of 5 stars The best mouse trap design. 🐭🪤
I have been trying to get mice under my kitchen sink cupboard for a few days now and they took the butter and cheese without activating the trap, so I ordered these and that very night I put one under the kitchen sink cupboard and I got the culprit and then the next day I got another one. I guess it's Goodnight Irene because I haven't had any trouble since. Highly recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars Worked as far as I know
Bought as the neighbour had mice in their house. I saw one in the garden so wanted to get rid of as many as possible. Got one not seen anymore
5.0 out of 5 stars Best Mouse Traps Ever
Unusually all 6 traps have continued working for the last 3 months. 👍😃 They are super sensitive & the mice have no chance. Excellent product.
4.0 out of 5 stars Worked a charm!
Set it up at night. 5 minutes later heard a bang.. came down and it did the trick. Really pleased with the product. Used penut butter as it recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars Mouse traps
Really good mouse traps. Did the job perfectly.
5.0 out of 5 stars They Catch Ratlings Effectively
These work well on ratlings (small rates - - maybe 3" body length). I doubt they'd work on full-grown rats.I use carrot. Be careful to press the carrot firmly onto the holder rim. With one rat, I just rested the carrot on the bowls and it stole from 5 of the six without getting caught (grrrr). Reloaded and pushed the carrot tightly down and the first one he tried, got him.Having six boosts your odds of a quick catch. Great buy if you live where rats can get in or where (like us) your cat prefers to play with its food before chomping down, and is sometimes a little too cocky!* PS: By 'catch', I mean kill.
1.0 out of 5 stars MICE ARE INTELLIGENT, SO THIS SYTEM IS USELESS...
not the seller's fault, but what we realised is that the mice know this is a trap, they managed to grab whatever was in the trap and disappeared, so, once again, not the sellers fault, more like these days one needs a more drastic product. We had no mice in this place in over 20 years, but we changed our water tank, I think they were able to get through some hole in the cupboard were the tank is, the door to our corridor was semi opened, The way we got rid of them was pure chance, first my daughter saw one running and hiding in one of her Crock shoes, so she quickly grabbed it and threw it out of the window (not real Crocks though, so she didn't hesitate LOL) she then went downstairs to grab the shoe and saw the mouse was dead, the other was a tiny one that, again, by chance, it got inside the bin and inside a plastic packaging for chocolate cake slices, so we could grab the thing and, again, throw it out. We closed that door properly and have not seen any more mice, but just in case, bought some poison sachets, lets hope the mice wont know the nature of the thing or, even better, that now we got rid of them....
3.0 out of 5 stars Flawed - effective on naïve mice but not on clever mice
When I first got these traps, almost all the traps were having their bait stolen without the trap going off. So an annoying but solvable trap flaw: the trap trigger paddle in its set position isn't sensitive enough to set off trap with the slightest movement. I solved this by pressing the paddle down after setting it so that it was just about to go off - like resting on a knife edge. After doing that, these traps were initially very effective, racking up something like 15 kills across 2 weeks, even with a trap catching two mice at once on two occasions. But all the mice caught were almost all very small - young mice - probably a few weeks old and newly weaned. Just one adult sized mouse was caught as far as I recall.I then found that despite pressing down the paddle to make them more sensitive, the traps were once again having their bait stolen without catching mice. The problem turned out to be a further flaw, this time fatal - clever mice can lift up the trigger paddle from underneath to make the trap unsensitive and then steal the bait. This renders the trap useless and without physically modifying the trap somehow it's not possible to stop this from happening. These traps have certainly helped me get rid of a great many mice - but the trouble is that the clever adult mice that can learn to defeat these traps are the ones that breed more mice. I've switched to using different traps as a result that use a different trap mechanism (the one used in classic wooden mouse traps), which hopefully will prove more effective.
