5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for a healthy & delicious low cost snack.
As a somewhat of a popcorn connoisseur, these popcorn kernels are excellent. Made properly these will produce the fluffy white popcorn that taste delicious as you'd hope. As a former crisp addict, I was on the hunt for a healthier snack to feast on and that's where I found fresh popcorn. Popcorn has a tarnished reputation due to the volume of highly processed popcorn out there that's often loaded with all those 'bad for you' additives that taste great.Popular calorie loaded highstreet brands often cost £1.12/100g, however against these at At £0.22/100g (or £0.20/100g on a subscribe and save) well I suppose the bigger brands can Kist-my-Butter.For those not in the know, popcorn kernels keep indefinitely with the right, airtight storage although still best not try keep for years. With these tasting so good they won't last anywhere near that long though.I typically open these big bags, decant some kernels in to a separate sealed tub to keep at hand and seal the bag with a plastic clip and stick in to storage until needed again. They make great affordable movie snacks or party food just make sure to shake out those I unpopped kernels. Talking of which I've seen the odd review saying there's a fair few unpopped. Typically across all popcorn kernels you will always get some that don't pop. In my experience these are no better or worse than the next brand. The biggest factor when it comes to popping kernels is how you are making the popcorn. Air popping in the microwave is the healthiest/ cheapest option... however I find it always leaves the most unpopped kernels across all brands. I used to make popcorn this way but gave up.If you're making popcorn in a pot, don't put too many kernels in in the first place. As a general rule I only scatter/ make sure to cover about 75% of the base of the pot with a single layer of kernels to make a full pot. Of course this will depend on the pots but I've use various over the years and this seems to work. Too many kernels will always result in many more seeds and partially popped corn. For anyone interested here's how I make mine, effortlessly, cheap, delicious and relatively healthy.Pan out and stick a dollop of virgin olive oil in the base adding enough kernels to cover 75% of the pan base at one layer thick cover on (glass works the best so you can see). Increase the hob to full, periodically swishing the kernels/ oil around coating them as they go. For sweet get some natural sweetener at the ready (i.e. Erythritol, Stevia etc) You can buy natural sweetener in granules or even just the table form will do (the kind you put in tea/coffee). Keep swishing and as soon as you hear the first 'pop', lift the lid and fire that sweeter in to the pan. It's up to you how much/ how sweet but for an average soup pot I use two tablets.. Let the popcorn pop away shaking it periodically and dialing down the heat as the popping slows. Launch in to a bowl and that's you.. sweet popcorn.Salt and Sweet? Once popped sprinkle with a dash of low salt and shake.Salt and Vinegar?... Wait until popped add low salt and vinegar and shake. That's it! Now you're cooking!Hope This Helps :)
5.0 out of 5 stars Really good value corn for popcorn!
We made delicious popcorn at a fraction of the cost of buying it, with very few unpopped kernels and hardly any burnt pieces remaining. We made this in the microwave using a silicone microwave popcorn bowl and had great results, but we haven't tried using any other method.I can wholeheartedly recommend this method to anyone making popcorn! It's fantastic value!
4.0 out of 5 stars Really reliable popping
Takes a little longer to start popping than most bags of kernels I've tried, but I get an almost 100% amount of popped kernels at the end, and they take butter / salt flavoring while being popped really well
5.0 out of 5 stars Love it
Bargain product , huge size and function popping good. Taste great and smells good, if you put extra oil won't burn much more than 10%, easy to cook. Burn.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pop pop pop
Fantastic bag of popcorn. In our house we eat popcorn a lot. This pops well and leave very little unpopped kernals. Makes perfect size popcorn. Cook on low flame and you won't get much burnt popcorn. Highly recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars DISAPPOINTING. Not fully popping
I’ve bought this product a few times now and have always been happy with it. But, the last batch I had delivered is not fully popping? If I continue cooking to get it to “pop”, it just burns it.On contacting Bolo about this to return it, I was told I’d have to contact the supplier, even though it was supplied by Bolo? I have emailed then twice now with no reply? So I’ve moved onto another supplier.
3.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality
Not the best quality in fact quite poor , loads of the corn didn’t pop ….cooked same process as others, but not great results.
