This works very well. I have a Ryzen 5600x and this cooler keeps temps below 55 degrees centigrade. Playing games and general use!Looks good and the fan is quite quiet. The mounting hardware has clips to add a secondary fan if required, not many others do that!Well done iD cooling!

The media could not be loaded. Starting with the delivery which was quick next day with care and a smile from the delivery driver. The cooler came very well packed with all the mounting and manual in the box. Installed it immediately as my stock cooler was not efficient enough. Installing was easy on my Msi mother board with Ryzen 5 Cpu. I was not very impressed with the idle temperature when started the computer as it was not much different than the stock cooler. The big difference I saw when I ran the CPU stress test with maximum temperature of 76°C compared to 94°C with the stock cooler. Bare in mind that the thermal paste is enough for only one application. As I am having other fans, cannot really comment on the noise level but very quiet on the stress tests. Another good point to mention is that it comes with 2 spare fan brackets, so I can attach a second fan at the back of the radiator if needed. I will update this review if needed.

This great CPU Cooler, is compact to fit into my NP200P case with a bit of room to spare. I was abit worried that it may not be able to cool my i5 12600K, it has 4 pipes, but the radiator vents and pipes surface area is small than the others that I tried to fit into my case, so was not confident it would work as well. I have two ARGB x2 intake fans at the bottom and x2 ARGB fans as exhaust on top. The CPU temps have stayed around 45 to 65. I would buy this again, the ARGB look really nice and I love it. Good cooler.

Perfect for an HTPC , Low Profile, Quiet, and COOL!
My HTPC began overheating when I started using it to compress my recorded TV and my discs. I came across this cooler in my search and it is one of the only ones with 4 heat pipes low enough to fit in my HTPC case, have a PWM four pin fan, and no LEDs as I don't want the CPU cooler lighting up the room at night. My HTPC has always been quiet and unnoticeable and I wanted it to stay that way......and now it does that and stays cool at the same time.My CPU temperatures were hitting 90 degrees C and sometimes higher and my machine would randomly freeze from time to time requiring a reboot. It was only the freezing up that led me to discover the overheating issue. This CPU cooler made a huge difference. Not only is it silent but at max CPU utilization my temp only hits 45 degrees C now.....an over 45 degree C differential to the stock Intel cooler on my old i5 4690K.Installation is not difficult but you will have to access the bottom of the motherboard so if you don't have an access hole in the case below your CPU socket you will at least have to take all the screws out holding down the motherboard, remove any PCI cards and lift it up at an angle to get the bracket installed. You shouldn't have to even take any cables loose. I just had to unplug some fans to get it up enough. After the bracket is installed the rest is easy and the way the bracket is designed you can put the CPU cooler facing any of the four ways you want. Even though it's a little more difficult to install than ones that can be done from the top you don't have to mess with pushing down on those spring clips which always makes me nervous I may damage the motherboard unless it is not out of the case and on a flat surface.....plus this design holds the CPU cooler very secure and bumping it won't rotate it or move it at all.There is an extra set of clips included if you want to add another fan to the other side of the radiator. I won't require an additional fan but if you have a CPU with higher wattage you may and the extra clips are a nice bonus.I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It fits my HTPC case which has less space above the CPU than most tower cases. It looks nice, not necessary, but a plus. It is very quiet. It has no LED lights. And most importantly it keep my CPU really cool.....and all for under $25 with tax delivered.
TDP65Wモデルのi7 10700には十分すぎる冷却性能
core i7 10700(無印)に使用、その前は同CPUのリテールクーラーを2週間ほど運用。他のCPUクーラーは試したことがないので比較等はできませんが、取り付けについてはリテールクーラーのプッシュピン式と比べて確かに手順こそ多いですが、それほど難しいといったものではないです。ただ初めて取り付けたのでどれだけテンションかければよいかわからず、そこだけ苦労しました。通常の使用についてですが、まずCPUファン設定はリテールおよび交換後のどちらも40度以下は最低回転数、40度から回転上昇、60度を超えたらフル回転。CPUクーラーの静穏性についてはリテールクーラーとの比較しかできず、正しいレビューにはなりませんが個人的には回転数が上がっても非常に静かで、低回転状態では無音そのもで快適でした。アイドリング時は30度前後で安定。FF15やCONTROLを各２時間ほどプレイしてみましたが、60度を超えることはなかったです。ここからはCinebench R23マルチコアを用いた冷却性能について書きます。リテールクーラーではTDP値の65W制御状態でも70度にいくかどうかの温度でしたが、こちらのクーラーに交換後は50度を超えませんでした。明らかにTDP65Wのi7 10700では冷却性能がオーバースペックで、余裕すらあります。なのでリテールクーラーではできなかった、マザボの設定で長時間電力制限(PL1)の変更をほんの少しだけ実行してみました。あくまで遊び半分なので参考程度に。実施月、21年4月上旬、室温23-25度、湿度40%。CPU、core i7 10700(無印)グリス,アイネックス ナノダイヤモンドグリス JP-DX1ケース,Thernaltake Versa h26マザーボード,ASRock Z490 PHANTOM GAMING 4方法、Cinebench R23マルチコアを10分間、CPUID HWMoniterでTDP(PL1)制御時のみ監視。設定値、適当に90Wと、上位モデルのTDP値である125Wを使用。目標温度、70度以下で安定(一瞬の70度超は許容)。冷却性能を重視のためCinebench R23のスコアやCPU性能の上昇率については記録していません。結果デフォルトの65W→50度以下(参考)PL1を90W→50-55度PL1を125W→65-70度個人的にはPL1設定であれば125Wから5W落とした120Wぐらいなら十分いけるかなといった結果でした。最も、現状そこまでの処理能力は必要ないので、すぐに設定は元に戻しましたが。
Cools My Ryzen 7 5700G at a great price!!!
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700GMB: MSI B550-A PROCase: Rosewill Cullinan PX RGB-ST ATX midtowerSo far this cooler is doing MUCH better in my new build than the stock AMD Wraith cooler that came with the CPU. When I ran Cinebench R23 with the Wraith cooler installed I got a top CPU temp of 90deg Celsius. After installing the ID-Cooling unit The top temp only got to 71deg...An almost 20deg drop! While typing this, the "resting" temp is around 32deg. It was pretty easy & quick to install(there are videos on Youtube that can assist you). The noise level is just fine at resting temps....I can't even hear it while seated at my desk about two feet away from the tower. The ARGB is totally controllable from the MSI Center software, syncs with my exiting lighting, & looks great as there is ARBG on both the fan AND the heatsink itself(unlike a lot of more budget RGB cooler options which boast RGB on the fan only). It was a pleasant surprise that a 4-way ARGB splitter was included in the box, which allowed me to hook up all of my existing ARGB items to only one motherboard header. I didn't use the included push-button controller, so I can't speak on it, but I guess it's nice to have in case you need it. Really, the only con at this point that I can think of with this unit is that the included thermal compound tube only contains a very small amount of compound....BUT it's probably enough for one installation & they really didn't have to include it in the box in the 1st place, so having it is actually a bonus. Overall right now I think that this cooler is a great option, especially for the price, I wouldn't hesitate on using it again for other PC's!!
Phenomenal Performance on a Budget and Easy-Install
Installation - I've installed lots of aftermarket coolers before across different builds (Silverstone Nt08-115x, Zalman CNPS9800, Zalman CNSPS8900 Quiet, MSI Frozr S, MSI Frozr L, Cooler Master 212); and the ID-Cooling SE-914-XT Basic is BY FAR the EASIEST to install by a long shot! With all of the other coolers; there were just so many screws and steps - I'd have to re-read the manual 2-3x just to ensure I followed everything exactly (it's crucial you follow all steps because one wrong screw could mean the cooler may not actually be touching the CPU - resulting in your CPU overheating and potentially killing itself - a very expensive mistake!). With this ID-Cooling, no kidding, it's literally 3 steps (instead of the typical 9-12 from other brands)! The back plate is also sturdy metal (unlike 90% of the other coolers I've seen that costs 2x as much that uses flimsy plastic!).Looks and Build - Everything looks very nice (feels very beefy and well machined). As you can see in my pic of the copper pipes, it's machined FLAT super well! The only gripe I have is the black on the top of the cooler - I thought it was anodized black paint like my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Black Edition (looks amazing in person). The ID-Cooling however - it's just a black vinyl sticker of some sort that they simply stuck unto the top. I wasn't too worried about looks anyways because the PC case this was going into doesn't have glass side panels.Performance - Shockingly good. Can't believe this is only ~$28. I attached pictures. but when my Intel Xeon CPU is idling, it's around 30 degree Celsius (~86 Fahrenheit) in my 72-deg Fahrenheit room. After doing some triple-A title gaming on Ultra-High settings (e.g. Star Wars Battlefront 2), the graph says the CPU temp maxed out at 59-deg Celsius (138 Fahrenheit). I would quit the game, and before my eyes, see the temperature dropping from 59C to 32C within a matter of 2-3 minutes (I guess that shows how well the heat pipes are absorbing the heat from the CPU)! OF NOTE - I do have my CPU fan on "Gaming mode" - which increases the fan's speed to almost double compared to "Quiet mode". When I gamed on "Quiet mode" with the CPU fan spinning at ~700rpm, the max temp was 70C (which is still pretty low when gaming). Even when the fan is spinning 1300rpm on "Gaming mode", the 92mm fan is not noisy to me.
