Must confess I wasn't expecting too much from this stand but felt that it was worth giving it a go to try and alleviate the hunching over to type scenario. My thoughts were 'give it a go and don't expect too much from a relatively cheap item that would probably not be too sturdy and be yet another discarded internet purchase after a week or two'Well the only reason that I have taken the time to write this review is because I am absolutely delighted with this purchase, to say that it has exceeded my expectations would be the understatement of the year.Incredibly well made from metal and my big fear was that it would flop all over the place and not support the bashing off the keyboard without needing constant readjustment back to its original position.But its absolutely fantastic, for such a cheapish item no problems with having to readjust or falling out of the desired position at all, sturdy, well made and ideal for the task. Theres even an Allen key and socket provided for those who may wish to tighten or loosen the pressure required to adjust the tension of the stand if required. ( not required in my case).I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

For the price this is a great little laptop stand. It’s well made and it comes ready to go. It doesn’t sag ie the joints are stiff and tight. It fits my 13” laptop fine and I can’t see why it wouldn’t hold 15 and 17” ones too. Might be an issue if your laptop is old and thick (mine is a slim one) as the pegs at the front to hold the laptop in are not large. All in all I recommend this.

Adding this review as there seems to be some 1star reviews for this product which the photos show aren't actually for this product and nearly stopped me buying it(Nb not actually used this for any time yet so review may get edited if i come across any problems during actual use for some hours)Out of the box, this stand seems pretty sturdyI bought this to raise my laptop screen up a bit on a standing desk platform, works ok, feels pretty secure , there is a little little bit of extra wobble but not too badOne thing to mention, my newer skinnier laptop fits lovely,but for my older , chunkier , heavier 'Thinkpad' the lip that holds the laptop in place is possibly a bit low ? This older beast will be the laptop that gets used most on this standDue to the extra weight of this laptop ,The bevelled edge at the front of the thinkpad base seems to tilt up a bit and has a gap on that small 'shelf' and looks a bit 'close' for comfort as though it could slip down ? , but by placing a small piece of card or blutack, etc at the top edge of the stand to lift it a bit at the top, it has flattened out the gap and feels much more secure. (Photo 3/shows the gap, photo 4 shows it has closed up after being 'padded' at top )Weight seems pretty balanced , i don't think this will topple backwards or anything4 star review coz of the lip thing, but i am very happy so far with this ......

Quite heavy so I don’t recommend this for traveling but it’s very useful at home. materials all seems to be of good quality and I haven’t had any problems so far.

nützliche Erhöhung für Arbeit am Laptop/Notebook mit mehreren Monitoren
Ich war auf der Suche nach einer Erhöhung des Laptopbildschirms, um so auch diesen Bildschirm nutzen zu können und so zwei Monitore auf gleicher Höhe zu verwenden. Da mein Schreibtisch nur begrenzt über zusätzlichen Platz verfügt finde ich die Idee und Umsetzung dieser Erhöhung sehr gelungen. Das Laptop wird aufgeklappt und schräg an den Ständer gestellt. Aufgrund zweier Rillen im Vorderbereich steht deas Laptop kippsicher. Die Laptoptaststur wird nicht benötigt, ich nutze hier eine kabellose Maus und Tastatur. Mit Hilfe eines HDMI-Kabels wird noch schnell der Monitor angeschlossen und schon habe ich zwei Bildschirme nebeneinander, die genutzt werden können.Der Ständer steht bei mir an einem festen Platz und wird nicht mehr abgebaut. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung, für kleines Geld viel Nutzen!

Ergonomischer Laptopständer
Mit dem Ständer steht der Monitor höher und damit Nackenfreundlicher. Ich nutze den Laptop als 2. Monitor neben dem großen. Externe Tastatur und Maus gehören dann zum homeoffice dazu.
