5.0 out of 5 stars Great for outdoor use
I tried the heated gloves during my morning hikes in chilly weather. They fit comfortably and are thin enough to allow good movement of my fingers, which is helpful when adjusting gear or using my phone. The touchscreen functionality works well, letting me use devices without taking the gloves off.Adjusting the heat levels is easy, and the medium setting keeps my hands warm in most conditions. On particularly cold days, the highest setting provides extra warmth. The battery lasts through my outings, usually around three hours, which suits my activities.Cleaning them is simple; after removing the batteries, I can wash them without any trouble. They've held up well after several washes. Wearing the gloves has made outdoor activities in cold weather much more comfortable.
5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer for RAYNAUD'S sufferer!!
I've struggled with Renaud's for years and this winter I decided that I had had enough - the discomfort and pain was ruining the only pleasure of lockdown - getting out and walking. I decided on these based on reviews - they are not the cheapest by any means but buying cheaper ones looked like a false economy. They arrived surprisingly quickly. I tried them on in the house and oh my word they felt so warm and snug - off I went on my walk in close to zero degree weather (Edinburgh). I was immediately disappointed - the warmth just disappeared. BUT after about 20 minutes I realised my hands and fingers weren't cold. At the end of the hour long walk, my fingers were perfectly fine, not cold, not hot - my hands were behaving like NORMAL hands! What an absolute delight!I realised that gloves that provide an obvious heat, while out in the cold, are going to make your hands too hot and sweaty. These provide enough of heat barrier to allow your hands to function normally and to stop the cold getting in.The gloves are quite thin, which I like very much as my normal go-to gloves are big bulky ski type gloves - while wearing these if you have to do anything requiring any level of dexterity you have to take them off - so your hands get cold and then don't warm up again. These allow me to do most things that are needed - use my phone etc. and still look quite stylish. The material feels high end too. The battery pack makes for a bulky cuff, but I manage this fine, it's absolutely worth it.Customer service has been excellent as well.Overall, I highly recommend these gloves - it has been a cold winter here in Scotland but now that my hands are taken care of, honestly it has made such a difference to my whole cold weather outlook. If you suffer with Raynaud's then don't hesitate to buy these!
4.0 out of 5 stars Warm but not hot
Very flexible and allows you to use your hands, a lot less bulky than many similar products. The heat you get is a warm glow rather than being hot however it stays warm regardless of how cold it is. Have used these in -8 degrees C on a fast moving mobility scooter and hands were still warm. They've been a godsend for Mum, she's never had cold hands since she got them. Been using them daily for about 2.5 hours per day and charging them once a day. Only had them a few weeks so can't comment on durability. A couple of points to note - the batteries do take a while to charge. Also, whilst they are reasonably waterproof they did get soaked through once in particularly bad weather. In fairness it was like a monsoon that day and as they are used on the handlebars of a mobility scooter they took the brunt of the weather. They have stayed waterproof every other time it has rained. They are very comfortable, yes you know the battery is there but you get used to it and forget about it. These are pricey but you get what you pay for.
3.0 out of 5 stars DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS
Reason for 3 star: Stops hands from freezing but they are overpriced and I feel like the product description page mislead me to believe that my hands would be warm even on an autumn mild day.Pro's1. Gloves thin enough to be practical2. Batteries easy to remove and install.3. Battery life easy lasts 3 dog walks a day.4. Stops hands hurting in sub zero temperatures5. Easy to operate6. On occasion you can feel the warmth along the fingers.Con's1. Too Expensive2. Cuff where battery is, is quite large and is noticibly there.3. Can accidently turn on in your bag saturating the battery (disconnect battery when travelling)4. Hands do not feel warm even on a mild day using the gloves5. Only the red option seems to work6. Product Description unclear for what to expect. My Experiences...I measured my hands and bought medium size gloves so the fit was reletively good however it is misleading that the advertisement suggests that these will keep your hands warm.Do not purchase these with that expectation. There is a big difference between being toasty, warm and keeping hands from freezing. My experience is that in sub zero temperatures no wind on a frosty day my hands did NOT hurt from the cold so that is great...however they did not feel warm/toasty. One glove actually ran out of battery on one walk and my right hand hurt from the cold whilst my left did not.
5.0 out of 5 stars Heated gloves
I have only ever borrowed a pair of heated gloves from a friend and found them to be quite bulky with no sense of feeling, so I was skeptical about buying some .After researching and looking through feedback I bought a pair of these gloves. I would normally buy large or XL but bought M as per finger length in size chart the fit is perfect as they are very stretchy. They are quite thin so dexterity and sense of touch is very good, this does not seem to compromise the performance of heating . I do a lot of bike riding and cold hands are a problem, the temperature was -2 , whilst my hands weren’t hot they certainly weren’t cold even on the middle setting. I found them very comfortable and didn’t even notice the battery pack on the inside of my wrist. I am a big believer in getting what you pay for , these gloves are quite expensive but for me they are a total game changer and I love them.
