Science behind this product: Retinol (Vitamin A), alongside its natural (retinaldehyde, retinoic acid, and retinyl esters) & synthetic derivatives, is part of the Retinoid family. Retinoids are very well known for their ability to promote cellular growth & differentiation in our bodies, thus fighting photoageing by exfoliating at the cellular level, resulting in a brighter, refined complexion. It also stimulates skin cell proliferation, which restores thickness to the skin, making it firm & youthful. Although there are enormous benefits of retinoids, they have limited clinical use due to skin irritation & photochemical instability. Milder synthetic and natural derivatives of Vitamin A, such as Retinol esters, are available in the market with lower irritation and increased stability, but the tradeoff is decreased performance. The Granactive Retinoid used in Minimalist serum is a breakthrough product in the entire retinoid family. Compared to other retinoid or retinol derivatives, Granactive Retinoid can directly bind with retinoid receptors without need to break down into more biologically active forms such as retinoic acid, which causes skin irritation. It is clinically tested to offer less irritation making it suitable for people with sensitive skin. I’ve been using this retinol brand for a few weeks now.It’s helped shrink my pores and my skin looks like it’s evening out.It really works well when paired with the hyaluronic acid from the same brand.It’s left my skin with a lovely glow!

I am a 60yr old woman. Not too many wrinkles but I am getting age spots and my skin is sagging. I honestly feel this is making a difference. It isn't making me look 10 yrs younger, it's not a miracle lotion, but it is having an impact. Not too expensive, so I will stick with it.

I'd like to start with an acknowledgement that I am writing this from the perspective of a 22 year old with very minimal wrinkles. I have a great skin care routine and have done so for the last 4 years, so I cant attest to how well this will work for deeper wrinkles.That being said, despite great skincare, this year I developed my first wrinkle in my smile line dimple that did not go away when I stopped smiling. I have also never used retinoids, but use BHA, AHA, salicylic acid, niacinimide, SPF 50, oat balm cleanser etc.Anyway, after using this product for only 2 days my wrinkle disappeared! I use my oat Moisturiser with 2 drops of skin oil mixed in after to rehydrate.I'm not afraid to age, quite proud of the fact I'll have lived long enough to show it. But skin care is one of my hobbies and I'm a perfectionist so keeping my wrinkles at bay for now is an achievement. Would highly recommend. 🥰

I enjoy putting this over my face at night. I use it over my +5 vitamin serum. This is my second time using this every alternate day. I am now over 50 and trying out new Korean products. I feel my face is visibly smoother after each application.
