As soon as I opened the package I knew one of these jars had broken. I was quite dismayed as I had a use for all six. I got in touch with the seller and explained the situation and was promised a replacement. Imagine my surprise when a package arrived today containing another 6 jars! I never expected this so I was very impressed.Incidentally, these jars are perfect and come complete with two different shapes of black labels and a white pen. Just what I needed.

THEY ARRIVED WELL PACKAGED, NO BREAKAGESONLY PROBLEM - IF USING THEM FOR STORING CHUTNEYS, YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO STERILISE THEM AND THE INFORMATION ARRIVING WITH THE JARS STATES THAT THEY ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR STERILISING IN THE MICROWAVE [OBVIOUSLY NOT AS THEY HAVE METAL ATTACHMENTS] OR IN THE OVENDIFFICULT TO STERILISE THEM THEREFORE FOR USE WITH CHUTNEYS - I HAVE TRIED SOAKING THEM IN BOILING WATER AND HOPE THAT THIS WORKS AS I HAVE NOW USED THEM FOR STORING GREEN TOMATO CHUTNEY AND HOPE THAT THEY STAY FREE OF ANY GROWTH.
