Appears to all be working on macbook air, providing 3 desktops in total (including the macbook screen). Purchased as macbook air only support one external monitor via the inbuilt USB c.Slightly put off / concerned that you must agree to the software to record your screen. It will not work without agreeing to this.

Tried multiple docks to get 3 monitors running off laptop alone. Reaching these lofty prices was not something I had expected but I have this dock flawlessly running two 27 inch monitors and a 34 inch monitor at full resolution. Also running multiple items from the USB ports provided and connecting to the laptop with a single cable is very neat and tidy.As said in the title, not cheap but certainly works.

Easy to use although did have some issues initially connecting no idea why. Once set up no problems just one lead from laptop to hub and everything else attached to hub. Therefore I can move my laptop by unplugging one lead - ideal.

This worked out of the box for a Macbook Pro M1 (2020), installed DisplayLink drivers, loaded the DL app and 2 external screens were extended instantly. Had to rearrange the displays and reset the resolutions but it was flawless. Highly recommend this dock.

I was looking for a Docking Station for my MacBook 2021 (14inch M1 Pro Max). I primarily wanted to drive three monitors, run an external SSD, and also have the optionality of plugging in some additional USB / Thunderbolt devices.I initially chose this as it has a large number of down stream thunderbolts (4), USB ports with some running at 10gb, a 2.5Gig Network and also 2 * DisplayPort and 2 * HDMI outputs.So definitely felt like versatility and optionality.My two main issues with this device1. Displaylink - the device relies on DisplayLink software if you are to use the Displayport or HDMI outputs. The issues with Displaylink which I wasn't aware of are the fact you cannot run any copyrighted streams at all (e.g. Netflix, Bolo Prime Video, Apple TV etc..). In addition Displaylink performance is not great, ie when you move windows around on a Displaylink monitor there is lag / lethargy at times and not the crispness you want. I spoke with Support and you cannot bypass Displaylink if you are using the HDMI / Displayport outputs2. Size and aesthetic appeal - This thing is a huge brick. See photo next to my 14inch MacBook. It is also not very asthetically appealing, the cables go in both sides so it starts to look a bit of a mess on the desk. There is also another brick of a power adaptorI could put up with the size and asthetics if I could use all the ports the way I want. Not being able to use HDMI and Displayport (due to DisplayLink) cuts out half the brick and also the device begins losing its selling points. I also start to clog up all those extra Thunderbolt outputs.If you have a lower spec MacBook where you need to use Displaylink for multiple displays then this device could be for you.It has a compelling price point, but alas its compromised Displaylink and the massive size put me off.

I thought this product would help me switch my 3 screen set up from one machine to another at the simple touch of a button.Not so.First, when you hit the button the screens sometimes swap and sometimes give you one screen from one machine and two from the other or sometimes a blank screen and some strange combination of both machines on the other two screens. Sometimes, after a while, it swaps perfectly.I am not sure what the network connection is doing, but I suppose that doesn't matter much as both my machines are wifi'ed up.When it has swapped properly it then, randomly, blanks screens out then displays them again!So the expensive switch box is now in a draw and I have gone back to just manually unplugging and plugging my old (Novoo) hub from one machine to the other as required.A complete waste of time and (not a little) money.

I was looking for a dock that could provide two monitor outputs. It works for usual activity but had issues with some video playback and regularly cuts out when Zoom or Microsoft Teams is being used (I don't know if this is linked to screen recording). A screen or both will just go black. The visualisation can also be a bit laggy, even on powerpoint. Overall fine, but not optimal for the price point.

Une fois le pilote téléchargé et installé, on branche et ça marche. Je m'en sers pour relier deux écrans supplémentaire sur un portable sans prise Thunderbolt, avec clavier, souris, réseau et disque externe.Très bon produit.

The media could not be loaded. unica cosa avri messo alcune prese USB o usbc sul fronte dell apparecchio, per il resto è perfetto gestione periferiche molto buona e reattiva, nessun tipo di ritardo nell'uso di esse, per l'istallazione molto plug and play perche riconoscibile subito dal PC altrimenti all'interno si trova mini CD dei vari driver per l'utilizzo
Robustes Gerät mit Spitzenleistung zu erschwinglichem Preis
Benutze das Gerät nun seit einigen Tagen und bin überzeugt - es wurde sofort erkannt, funktionierte von Minute 1 an reibungslos und lief sogar per Plug-and-Play. Besser gehts nicht.Zudem bin ich absolut überrascht von der BIldqualität des erweiterten Desktops. Klar, spielen wird man nicht drauf können, für Office/Filme/Surfen und wenig Latenzabhängige Anwendungen merke ich keinen Unterschied zu meinem alten Set-Up, das direkt in der Grafikkarte steckte.Besonders zu erwähnen war, dass der zusätzliche Display meinen Laptop nicht zusätzlich belastet. CPU + GPU Benchmarks lieferten gleiche Ergebnisse mit und ohne Dock. Super!Die Bauweise überzeugt ebenfalls: Robustes Metallgehäuse, hochwertige Verarbeitung und mehr als genug Steckplätze für alle USB-Geräte, die ich besitze. Drucker, Sticks, Usb-Dock etc werden sofort erkannt. Ebenso lasse ich meine LAN-Verbindung über das Gerät laufen und merke keine Geschwindigkeitseinbrüche.Einzig meine Funkmaus möchte nicht über den Dock funktionieren, dafür habe ich allerdings jetzt genug Steckplätze am Laptop selbst.Mittlerweile bin ich drei Geräte dieser Art durchgegangen, von denen keines so reibungslos funktionierte wie dieses.Fazit: Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!
