5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant bit of kit
I bought this after the 10th fiddly DIY home job that needed an assortment of tools to do when a rotary tool would have done the job quicker and more easily. Each time I had resolved to buy one and never actually followed through. Well no more! After reading lots of reviews on different brands this seemed to be the best set up in terms of value for money and the DIY jobs I expected to need it for.The package comes in a nice sturdy blue bag that fits the tool, an assortment of attachments and the various heads in a neat case divided up into sections plus the instruction manual. There is a fairly generous selection of attachments for polishing, sanding, etching and cutting. the inclusion of a cable extender is useful for those hard to reach areas but the tool itself comes with a decently long cable. The accessories box also comes with a wrench tool for tightening the nut that holds the heads in place. The only minor gripe I have is the instruction manual is a little unclear on which 'stems' to use with which heads but you can work it out with a bit of common sense. The switch to set the speed is a chunky clearly numbered orange dial that has a satisfying click. It is recessed into the body of the tool so will not accidently be cranked up or down. I have so far only used it for cutting wood and plastic on medium and slow RPM but on high I wouldn't doubt it capable of cutting metals with the right attachment. Overall very happy with this purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars So easy to use 😊
As a keen hobbyists I have been looking at getting one for a few years for various projects and after reading some of the reviews I brought one to clean up a few fossils I'd found. However before I got the chance to use it another opportunity arose.Having used a 'known brand' in the past I was surprised to find that this was better suited to the task. Engraved logo on mild steel with less noise and vibration that other make, took half the time and had more defined results. I think it looks the business. However, agree with others that the bits supplied with this machine are inferior. Wore out one bit but was in use for about an hour. Let the machine cool off as continuous use is not recommended. Will have to get replacement diamond tipped bits for next project.
4.0 out of 5 stars The tool is perfect
The tool is perfect - don't even bother to use accessories, buy some decent set extra. The price is low enough to do not complain about it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Set Of Tool
Very versitle and easy to you, once you get the knack of its rotation.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good value neat package
Honestly, a bit unsure about buying this, never heard of the brand and would have purchased the much more expensive market leader one, but have been put off by so many stories of them developing issues.Right or wrong, plumped for this, based on reviews. As a novice to these tools, was concerned I'd be unable to get the hang of it, so was really pleased that the instructions are comprehensive without being too much. The 2 year registration is really easy via a QR code (where you can also get the instructions if they go missing).Only used it for an hour but has already saved me money removing scratching from daughter in law's expensive watch glass (yes, glass, not resin), using a polishing wheel with a jewelers rouge stick.I'd somehow forgotten it came with a fabric carry case and got a tool box for it (but that's stupid's fault), as the supplied holder's better than the one I bought.I suppose I could actually throw it out now and still be quids in, but am not so stupid & look forward to the next little job.
5.0 out of 5 stars Splendid :)
Price wise it is excellent value for moneyPersonally speaking I have found this tool to be an absolute delight to use. The battery lasts for roughly 60 minutes or so continuously on a full charge depending on the rotary speed that you choose. When there is far too much pressure applied to the head, the rotary tool will shut itself off which in all fairness is a good safety feature to have.It comes packed with various heads that are ideal for a multitude of different jobs. With it being small, lightweight and easy to carry, you can literally put it in your pocket, providing you are not wearing skinny jeans of course...I fully recommend using it for wood projects, as I have got some great results out of it on wood.
5.0 out of 5 stars More than I expected.
Exceeded my expectations. As a replacement for a rotary tool I have used for many years I'm happy with this purchase. It all fits away neatly in the well-made carrier. I've used the tool for drilling, cutting, routing, grinding - it all worked well. I particularly like the light on the extra control handle, the see-through cutting disc guard, and the large range of accessories. I didn't have a guard attachment with my last rotary tool and things sometimes fly off. When you're wearing safety glasses it's still not great getting hit with anything and the safety guard should help to protect your face.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best.
Who gives this 5 star reviews? Yes it comes with some accessories but the thing itself is not so great.I'll explain, first off the torque is rubbish, you must treat it with kid gloves, any more pressure than the weight of it will just slow it so far down its silly, then there is the rumbling noise from inside, sounds like a really bad fitting bearing that needs grease, and all this on just #2 speed setting, the only thing in its favour is the price but having said that if it only lasts for a couple of months it works out expensive.I'm still undecided if I send it back or not as I hardly ever need to use it except for the job at hand and my old one gave up the ghost after 20 years. If you are going to buy one to use on a regular basis then buy a good one and not a cheap Chinese one like this.
Good
Very useful
Not a Dremel
Not the best small rotary hand tool, but the value cant be beat. With accessories that were included, it was about 1/3 the cost of a simular dremel tool. The variable speed dial feels a bit cheesy- it may needto be used a bit.Noise level is about the same.Durability -? time will tell
Good product, non-uk beware
The product itself works perfect and is great price/quality.Only thing is that even though I was on my local regional Bolo it mentions 2 AA batteries which ofcourse is not true at all (how would that power a 160 watt device) so obviously its cabled. It never mentions however that it only has an UK plug.So anyone outside of the UK buying, make sure you have an UK->whatever plug you use adapter to actually make use of it.
Great value for price
Exactly as described. The case makes it convenient to take everything you need. Works well. I cut a steel tab with minimal vibration.Would recommend
Good if you need it but not as good as Named brand
Not as fast or powerful as my $80 dremel branded on. Not sure how long it would last feels sturdy but motor is lacking.
