I had two Sony stereos in my house that I was looking to replace. Initially, I bought a Panasonic SC-PMX92B for a price of £292. I tried this in my lounge but was very disappointed with the Bluetooth sound. Weak and tinny. So, I moved the Panasonic into my cellar where the sound quality is not so important. And then bought this, the Philips M4505/12 (60W) to see if it was good enough to replace my Sony CMT-SBT100B in the main living room.I am glad to say that it seems to be up to the job, and then some. Powerful, clear, crisp sound on FM, DAB, and Bluetooth. Haven't tried the CD yet.A smart design, simple and easy to put together, small footprint, great screen and clear legible text. Only complaint is the tiny remote control, which I fear will get lost easily. But again, simple to understand its functionality.The Autoscan found loads of DAB and FM stations to choose from. Literally about 35 DAB and 10 FM. That's a lot more than I had before with the Sony.Warm and pleasing sound, this purchase has really cheered me up!

After much deliberation, I went for the 60W version. On reflection, it might have a little too much oomph for our needs, as we only ever seem to get to about 5 on the volume. That said, the sound is clear and very much adequate compared with the Sony system it replaced.However, the remote is the smallest I have ever had the misfortune to use. It is also symemtrical, which in this case means you often get to hold it incorrectly before working out that you will need to flip it around in order for it to work. It's also got a fair bit of lag once you have selected your request.Still, we are happy with it so don't let that put you off!

I use this mostly for music over bluetooth, which was very easy to set up. You can charge your phone from the USB port on it while it plays too. Sound quality is very nice for the price range and it's an attractive looking unit.

Sound quality is very good for the price. Bass is probably better than I expected. Unfortunately the DAB reception where I live is bad so I cannot comment on that but the FM is good. I haven't tried the bluetooth or USB port as I only bought it as a CD player. For that, it is good. I also like the compact size.

Preso per esigenhze non da esperto di impianti audio , è un bel sistema con un bel suono che non distorge anche ad alto volume, e considerando che io ci ascolto musica classica direi che posso essere più che soddisfatto. L'installazione è semplice, il bluetooth funziona bene, il telecomando è comodo, i cavi delle casse sono abbastanza lunghi per separarle quanto basta, non è brutto da vedere, la radio anche DAB si prende bene anche dentro casa ovviamente va installata la antenna che però, per intendersi, non ho neanche appeso e l'ho fatta correre dietro l'armadio.

Me ha gustado, me parece un buen equipo y da una calidad de sonido más que suficiente para su tamaño. Lo compré para ver la radio digital y por que me encantan mis CD que sigo teniendo y dos de mis equipos Pioneer han dejado de funcionar a la vez, curioso como hacen la obsolescencia programada ese fabricante, ya lo he abandonado por completo. Sobre los CD, pues poco que decir, pero de la radio DAB+ que síi, funciona, pero las emisoras que se pueden recibir son tan pocas (6) que por ahora no merece la pena en absoluto. Sólo incluye además FM, que tiene muy buena recepción, y ya abandona las AM y ondas cortas y largas, parece que las han dejado como algo del pasado a extinguir. No tiene ninguna salida o entrada de audio adicional posterior (nada de RCA o de fibra) y sí tiene entrada jack pequeña para cascos por delante y sí, bluetooth. A mi me vale.
