The lightweight rubber sole and cushioned midsole allow this boot to be worn for hours on lowland trekking ventures, while the support system comfortably holds the foot in place.

I bought this item as I wanted a pair of lighter walking boots. Having tried a pair of chunky leather boots with a vibram sole (which I find very heavy and uncomfortable to wear), as well as a pair of off road trainers (which give me blisters due to heel lift) - both from well known and more expensive brands - I rate these Grisport boots very highly! Good fit from the start, no blisters or rubbing/sliding in boot. Ankle is well secured, toes have good room and width is generous. Have managed to walk 4 miles through mud on my first walk last week - the boots ended up filthy on the outside, but warm and dry inside (looked like new when I brushed the dried mud off a couple of days later) and have now walked bits of the South Downs Way over the Easter weekend (around 20 miles, mainly off road) feeling well supported in these lovely light boots. I was concerned that the rubber sole would be inferior to the vibram sole. So far I have only positive comments to make and found these boots more comfortable than my leather boots. In conclusion, they are supportive, comfortable and light, and I have been able to walk up some steep hills without sliding.

Super comfy. No breaking in required. Good all round support Generous width. Very well cushioned sole. Will withstand many miles of walking I think. Suitable for most terrains.

The size I ordered using Grisport's own sizing chart was a 7 / 40 but the size I received was an 8 /41, so these boots are far too big for size 7 feet. Width of the boot is comfy and quite wide and they seem well made, though the laces are little short when fully laced up. If I had been sent the size I ordered then I would have kept them but as they are too large I have to return them.

I always come back to Grisport, when I need a new pair of walking boots. Great fit, comfortable from the off and loving them in red. Really do recommend these boots.

Wonderfully comfortable and great ankle support however I bought this for hill climbing and dog walking based on reviews. I only walked in wet grass and my socks were sodden. Returned based on wanted waterproof which these are not. Full refund and no issues so pleased with customer service

Boots are well made and good quality, as are all Grisport boots. These boots are the same size and style as my previous pair but they are much smaller and tighter. More like a size 3 than a size 4/37. There is no room for anything other than a very thin sock. No room at all for thick sock. They caused a blister on my left instep on first time wearing them for only a short 30 min walk to try out. Have worn them and accepted them so can't return. Very disappointed as I thought buying the same brand, same size I would get like for like. If you go for these boots buy a size bigger than you need and try out thoroughly indoors before making a decision.
