5.0 out of 5 stars It's easy, buy this rucksack!
It's rare that I wrote a review, but this rucksack is worth every penny. I use it for every day use, days out, jogging, beach, and all other. Comfort is superb, design, superb, everything just works, including the lashing straps. Plenty of space, and compartments that, again, work! The only thing that I do not like about rucksacks, is the mesh open bottle holders, I'd rather have zipped pockets for security of items, but the lashing straps, are thoughtfully designed, and hold both bottles well secure. The material of the rucksack is solid, and well stitched, and do not expect any failures any time soon. It also has a zipped in rain cover, I forgot it was there, and during a heavy down pour whilst jogging, all was dry. I'm not saying the contents would remain dry without it for long, but good to know that the items did not get sodden in the time it took me to finish my run. I hope this helps anyone wading through the amount of rucksacks on offer in this size to make a decision.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great backpack - one-year review
So I've been using the backpack daily for a full year now. When I got the bag, I thought the zippers didn't look very durable. But even after a year everything is still intact.+ Quite comfortable to wear+ Can be packed full quite easily+ Lightweight+ Durable- Side pockets are hard to access if the main pocket is full- Loose straps get tangled with things easily- Gets soaked easily, but then again it comes with a waterproof cover
4.0 out of 5 stars Great for beginners
Great storage capacity and quality for shorter hikes or day to day use. I did find that the back wasn’t particularly well vented and does cause back sweat which makes it pretty uncomfortable after a break when you put it back on.Great price and colour range though so a good starter pack
5.0 out of 5 stars Great backpack, and info about pockets
This is the fourth of these Mountaintop 40 litre backpacks I've bought, not because they died, but because I have four children and the first three are all still going strong (from 2018 or before). They are really good for the price - obvs you can pay £250 for a better one, but I'd rather pay £48 for this. Perfect size for cabin baggage, too. Here is some info and photos for people who care about pockets. In the big main pocket there's a sub-pocket which fits a 15" laptop no problem. There are two side mesh pockets for drinks. Underneath is the pocket for the rain cover, which is nice and bright. There are two deep pockets on the front, and in the upper one is another zip pocket as well as pen pockets. Also on the strap is a phone pocket, which fits a 6" phone, though it's a bit tight.

Whether it's your water bottle, hiking poles, or any other essentials, there's a place for everything. This backpack is the embodiment of affordability without compromising on quality. 5.0 out of 5 stars Solid
Used this everyday for 2 weeks solid on holiday, fitting mine, my gf and our daughters stuff for all day in Disney land. Usually 3 water bottles, snacks, sun cream, wallet, change of clothes and a towel. So many compartments and comes with a built in rain cover for when we got caught in the odd thunder storm. Was a struggle to fit it in the lockers at Disney though but to be fair the are exceptionally small. Comfy on your back and very very functional. Glad I did t buy one at 2 or 3 times the price
5.0 out of 5 stars Great rucsac! 5*****
This was a replacement rucsac which I am very pleased with. It has enouh room for everything I need. 3 seperate compartments & smaller pouches is more than adequate for my needs. Nice colour & comfortable on my back, which my old rucsac was not. I don't need the hydration hole part of it but thats not a great problem. Seems well made & sturdy. Not been out in the rain with it yet. Overall very pleased with my purchase.
Well made. Just enough pockets!
Gave my Teton 75L to my son and bought this instead. It is very sturdy with quality hardware and the bottom strap holds a mat and sleeping bag! I put a large folding stove, pots/pan set, and my essentials in and it fits right and comfortably.Nice bag for my scoliosis. It’s not allowing me too much weight and it’s easy to adjust so I’m comfortable.
GREAT BAG!
This was so cute and perfect for a week long trip across the UK with lots of hiking and everything we needed! The straps all adjust to be out of the way when you need and for when you need it to fit just right. There was a surprising amount of space and it’s easy to add more things to the outside of the pack too. It seems like it will last me a really long time.
Four years later and still solid, durable, dependable, comfortable…
I didn’t expect much from this bag when I first bought it (2018), but 4 years later it has been such a SOLID, DURABLE, and DEPENDABLE bag that I felt compelled to come back here and write this review! What a good pack! It’s been to The Rockies (twice), The Smokies, Acadia, Barcelona, and many smaller hikes around Ohio. I’ve used it as carry on luggage and as a daypack. I’ve crammed a weeks worth of clothing and hiking supplies into it to the point where I thought the zippers/seams would bust but it’s still going strong: no tears, rips, holes, or busted zippers! It’s straps are highly adjustable so a wide range of people can find the perfect fit. It’s comfortable with plenty of padding on the back area and the shoulder and waist straps. It has several external connection points for clipping carabiners to. It has three separate compartments (one small outer compartment , one medium, and a large inner compartment) which is great for organizing your stuff. The large compartment has a sleeve for a hydration bladder and two hooks at the top to secure it. I use a 3 liter bladder and it fits perfectly. It also has two external side mesh pockets for water bottles, etc. It has one zippered pocket on the waist strap which is very handy for smaller items you use a lot. And it has two connection points for holding trekking poles while they aren’t being used. Mine came with a built in rain cover that stores away nicely in its own zippered compartment on the bottom of the bag. I am not hiking the Appalachian Trail or living off grid for weeks at a time… However, if you’re like me and you do 15-20 day hikes a year and want a backpack that can handle a weeks worth of clothing plus hiking supplies without spending a fortune, then I would highly recommend this backpack.
Espacio
