I got this desk mat just to cover my desk as I had 5 smaller mats over the desk and gaps round the edges of them making it look untidy.This mat was the largest I could find at a good price...the 1600x800 I really wanted was 5 times more expensive.I installed the mat and it looks great with nice edges but running a mouse over it feels like the surface of the moon so used a mouse mat over the top of it and I am very happy with it.After 3 days the mat surface is much better and useable as a gaming surface.This is worth the wait nice price as well.

Product is 1500mm x 600mm with picture of stars / galaxies with a blue background. Five stars from me, I don't do gaming so haven't rated it on that, but I can't see how it would impede gaming.I wanted two mats to cover a longish desk, this being the bigger of the two. It arrived on time and in an undameged box. I unrolled it and the mat has lain flat right from the off (unlike smaller one I got from same maker).It does everything I wanted, it hides the glare from the white desk top and is much warmer to rest your arm / hand on than laminate.I was worried from the pictures that it would be too bright, but as another reviewer said, it's a lot more subdued than the pictures imply. Definitely better than a plain black one (which I also have) to look at all day.

I’m really happy with my XXL mouse mat! The extra-large size is perfect for my desk setup, providing plenty of room for both my mouse and keyboard. The surface is smooth and allows for precise mouse movements, which is great for gaming and work. The non-slip rubber base keeps it securely in place. My only minor gripe is that the edges could be a bit more durable; they started to show some wear after a few weeks. Overall, it’s a fantastic mouse mat that enhances my desk experience. Highly recommend!
