A lot more hard wearing than the Cloud Chaser and abrasion resistant when walking in woodland and undergrowth. Allows a full range of movement without the risk of chafing and fastens easily. Good in wet weather.The chest cover that fastens underneath also has a fleece lining and can pick up a reasonable amount of dirt but it does protect from brambles. Depending on where you walk, if like me in all weathers across quite muddy terrain you'll need to wash it regularly.The reflective strips light up well and it can be worn over a harness, if like me you use a Ruffwear harness, it's fully compatible.I like it though not entirely sure about the colour.

Searched long and hard for a coat for working cocker spaniel that loves running through rough terrain, heather, bushes, especially water. This product is definitely hardwearing and cleans up well. Highly recommended

Does exactly what we needed it to do regarding fitting lead, keeping dog warm and visible at a distance. Not cheap but excellent quality.

Brilliant jacket, but for our Golden Retriever both sizes received were either too small or too big. Ruffwear Customer services stated the wrong label was on the first item we received. They then went on to say that although rare, this particular coat doesn't suit your dog. Given they advertise these jackets with Golden Retrievers, then I am lost as to what dog it would suit. These jackets simply do not meet the sizing guidelines or stated measurements, and it's a real letdown for such a great brand.

Far too big for my young dog even though I measured her carefully. The neckline was a gaping hole and she would have slipped this design too easily. I bought a small as I was guided by the chart. I think going down a size would still be too large. So it was returned

Fits and looks great. High-quality materials that are put together well. That is an XS size in the picture. Also, the seller provided excellent customer service when there was a minor issue.
Great snug winter dog coat for Hiking.
The media could not be loaded. Barley is a Mini American Shepherd who measures 26” in the chest and 18” at the shoulders. She is wearing her small cloud chaser under her ruffwear pack. The vest is snug but allows for freedom of movement. Love that it comes down her front legs a little and prevents snowballs from balling up in her armpits and chest fluff. If your dog is any bigger than a 26”, I’d size up to the medium as the small is pushing it for her. The vest fits beautifully under her pack and covers a decent amount of underbelly. Worked great for our 8.2 mile hike in the White Mountains with a good portion above tree line. She stayed nice and dry even though she insisted upon diving into snowdrifts and rolling around in the snow (yes, with her pack in, she still tried). I would highly recommend and definitely buy again.
