So Ive had this for a few months and I've tried most of the settings now I think. Its my 1st air fryer, but it's so much more than just an air fryer. The dehydrate function is perfect for making crisps, dried fruit slices and fruity bits for cereal. The bake function is really useful for breads and pretty much anything else you would oven. The air fry is quick and simple cooking. Chips, wedges, sausages etc. The rotary basket is, in my opinion, a bit of a waste. It takes up the whole oven and chips and wedges are just as good on a rack. And the racks are much easier to clean. The rotisserie spit is ok for small, and I mean small, meats. You're probably not fitting a chicken on it unless it's the size of a quail. And like the basket, it takes up the whole oven. This is great for making a whole meal all at once. The cook times aren't hugely different from a conventional oven, but efficiency and pre-heat times are where this really makes it money back. My one piece of advice would be to use the pre-set time/temps settings as guide only. If you dehydrate food for the recommended 10 hours, you'll be munching on small pebbles. I turned sliced apples into crisps in about an hour. Slightly chewy so they won't save as long, but I still have my teeth. Apparently you can bake cakes in it too, it has a setting for that. Since I'm utterly useless at baking cakes anyway, I fear it will take more than this little gadget to earn me a Hollywood handshake.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! I'm so glad I invested in this air fryer!

    V.H. · 5 August 2023

Firstly it was worth the money just to enjoy oven chips, I mean really enjoy for the first time in my life! I'm a chips cooked in lard (if I had a choice that didn't cause clogging of the arteries) kinda woman, but we eat oven chips for efficiency and health reasons and oven chips, fat or fries are either under or overcooked. Not anymore, they are cooked to perfection, perfectly coloured and light and fluffy in the middle! Was worth the £100 just for that! We haven't used the rotisserie yet as the chicken we bought didn't fit, was too big, that was a bit disappointing. However everything we have cooked in it has been cooked perfectly and saves so much time.I went with this one over the other hundred options as my friend was waxing lyrical about hers, she has one with two drawers and she loves hers. I, once I started looking at it didn't like how everything was just piled in and everything was lay on top of each other, plus there's a lot of things you can't cook in the one with drawers. This one you can cook rotisserie, pizza, brownies and so much more. It's easy to clean, looks nice on the counter top and I'm honestly over the moon with it. It was quite an expensive (non-essential) purchase for me right now so I'm just relieved I love it as much as I do.

4.0 out of 5 stars SO FAR SO GOOD

    A.C. · 28 May 2024

I haven't had this long but so far so good (my previous Air fryer stopped working after 3 months, not a Chefman) so I am being cautious. So far though I like this CHEFMAN, it is big enough for our needs as there is only 2 of us, and it is lightweight and easy to move around the kitchen. Cooks well, no need for heating up time, I especially like the way you can cook par baked baguettes and rolls in 6 mins, also does roasted Mediterranean veg dishes nicely. You do have to reprogramme the timer again if you stop the cooking to check or add things as it goes back to default setting but it is a simple operation. In all, I'm happy with my purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars It is very efficient. Cooking times are indeed very fast and the result is Delicious!

We already have an air fryer but wanted to try one with a rotisserie. This one has exceeded our expectations in every way. It is fast and the results are scrumptious!

3.0 out of 5 stars Perfect size, but plenty of design and quality issues

    O.T. · 2 April 2024

+ Ideal size - at 32 cm width with 23.5 cm useful tray width, I found no alternative.+ Cooking works adequately- UI is behaving strangely, i.e. "cancel" button from any program turns on rotisserie.- When auto-off/sleeping, rotisserie stays/turns on and produces creepy creaking sound indefinitely (!) Even if not using the rotisserie.- Flimsy trays which stick at the front of the unit if not tilted (!) So to insert them without sticking they need to be tilted which is not very convenient.- Door is not sealed properly, so condensation accumulates inside - impossible to clean without disassembly.- Manufacturer support is bad - very long time to reply and not to the point. Were not able to hear and see rotisserie working when off on the video (which was admittedly not very good through door with condensate).- On the rotisserie staying on issue, manufacturer stated that "unit has to be unplugged completely to power off" - which is ridiculous for a modern appliance and the unit does apparently have auto off function.- Very loud, which is probably rather justified given volume and small size. All of that is really annoying. Despite that, I decided not to return it: it's working and the issues are minor, and the size is ideal for my setup. However, I do not recommend this if the size (width) is not a critical requirement.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very easy to use cooking instructions

    B. · 24 September 2024

The smaller size suited my small kitchen , I liked the glass see through front , I found the cooking instructions very easy to use . I am elderly and live alone always using my microwave for ready made meals , I now feel able to cook various dishes instead of using my oven that took ages to warm up and finally cook anything and such a waste of time , I am saving on my electricity usage also as this is quick and instant solution for me to have a healthier diet . I am extremely pleased with my new purchase 👌👍.

1.0 out of 5 stars Stopped functioning after 3 months

    A.C. · 25 May 2024

Extremely disappointing purchase. It lasted for about three months, from end February 2024 till end May 2024. Then the buttons became non-functional: all of them, no change of settings possible. No returns starting from 30 March; I have now to recycle this useless piece of equipment worth of GBP 100 (with delivery cost).Air-frying is an excellent way of cooking, I love it because one can cook in minutes (unlike oven) and without using a lot of fat (frying in a pan). But do be mindful and spend your money on good expensive machines instead of this short lived consumer embarrassment.

    Muy Buena freidora

Excelente, es super práctico y conveniente, en 5 minutos pueden salir varias carnes a la vez, 10 de 10.

I'm impressed, and much better than a convection oven

    G. · 13 March 2024

This is my first air fryer, I wasn't sure what to expect, especially that I already have a very good convection oven range, but I wanted something smaller that I don't need to pre-heat and consumed less energy for smaller portions. This fryer works great, and the results are also far superior! For example, sweet potato fries are always difficult get get crispy without going dry or burning in a convection oven, and in this air fryer, it was super easy to get top results. I appreciated being able to watch the food doneness with the window and integrated light. Garlic bread results are out of this world, not anything like I'd get with a convection or on broil, I'm not sure why, but I suspect the hot air also fries a bit the butter and gives it an delicious nutty taste. I also tried reheated pizza, this needed a few tries, and I got the best results by preheating the pizza slice in the microwave first to get it nicely warm/hot, and then a quick 5 minutes in the air fryer to get a very nice crispy crust. You really need to have a bit of oil on the food; I tried spring rolls without oil and the results were not great at all, but just a brush of oil makes the difference.Although there are multiple trays, I found that two trays with sparsely spread out food items what the max it could take and still give good results. Otherwise the lower trays don't get enough heat and don't fry at the same speed. The mesh trays feel a bit thin and are occasionally difficult to slide in when the oven is cold, but they work very well and surprisingly very easy to clean despite not being coated. I believe they're easy to clean because the food cooks from the hot air moving around instead of heating the tray. In all cases, I get to clean them with a sponge, whereas in my convection oven my air fryer trays often got super sticky and very hard to clean, despite being coated. All in all, I think these trays are perfect for this oven, and I'm hoping they will last well.I'm not sure how well the oven itself will last, I've read reviews that units failed quickly. In my case, I'm not seeing any sign that it would break down any time soon. It looks well built, runs quietly, and the touch controls are entirely electronic so they shouldn't fail. There's a halogen lamp inside the oven for lighting the food, it looks like replacing it would require disassembly, but since halogen lamps last a long time and work great at high temperatures, I'm not too worried at this point. All in all, I'm very happy with this air fryer, and crossing my fingers that it will wear well!

Save time, money and heating up the house

    N. · 22 September 2024

We've had this Chefman multifunctional unit for almost a year now, so I feel it's a fair review for regular use. This thing is a BEAST! We love that we can make several things at the same time and bam, dinner is done. It handles different types of foods with ease (we've made brats with fries and brussels all at the same time, nothing was overdone/burnt, everything was perfect!) It's awesome for meal prep for me in particular because I work 8on/6off. I can quickly and easily make 4 days' worth of food without having to deal with much of a mess either! Cleaning up is a breeze, the racks can handle some weight, the machine overall is pretty durable. We haven't used the rotisserie or dehydrator functions yet (rotisserie hasn't been used due to having to find a small enough bird and I totally forgot it dehydrates) but we plan on using both of those ASAP since we love jerky and rotisserie chicken. We recently got 8.5 in square air fryer liners; they work well with this also, making clean-up even easier!SERIOUSLY - BUY THIS THING IF YOU WANT TO SAVE TIME, MONEY AND NOT HEAT UP YOUR HOUSE!

A nice upgrade/addition to the kitchen

    O.d. · 21 August 2024

As a person living with a neurological condition, I am only allowed to cook with an appliance that has a timer. Microwaved meals can get boring quickly. Having an air fryer that cooks evenly, is easy to program and wash up makes life a lot less stressful and allows me to eat healthier. From battered chicken thighs to burgers to steak, this makes cooking simple for me. Great quality and value for money.
