5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly One Of The Most Refreshing Beverages On The Planet
Okay, so technically these drinks aren't something you'd expect to incorporate into a low-carb regimen...but I still like to have one every now and again. A single can contains 15g of sugar, which is a lot less than many other sparkling beverages, and whereas I normally try to restrict myself to 20g of carbohydrate a day, I can take that up to 25g and still not cause a blood sugar and insulin spike, providing I keep my food to the bare minimum carb-wise.But you don't care about my weird dietary requirements, you care about how the stuff tastes. And I can happily report back that despite their having changed up the formulation of late (they've swapped out some of the sugar for an artificial sweetener) this drink is still a beautifully sharp burst of lemony gorgeousness. It's tart, it's fizzy, it hits all the areas of your tastebuds at once so you KNOW you've just had a sip. And it's insanely refreshing - especially on a hot summery day.I also like the grapefruit version that San Pellegrino offer, but where that flavour is slightly more dry, this lemon version is utterly thirst quenching. It's worth keeping an extra stringent eye on the rest of my food intake for the day, if it means I can have one of these in the evening. And for those of you who don't concern yourselves with sugar or carbs or whatever, well you can have a lovely sharp lemon drink, which is lower in sugar without you feeling as though you've had a diet drink or anything that isn't a properly satisfying mixture of sweet & sour.It also makes a great mixer to put with vodka or gin. But I probably won't be drinking alcohol until Christmas so it'll be a while before I get to benefit from that awesome combination again. For now though, I'll be keeping a few cans of this stuff in the fridge, just for those days when I want something insanely refreshing and I've got enough carbs spare in the daily allowance to make it possible. This drink has been around for decades. There's a reason why it's still a firm favourite of a lot of people. It's just the way you wish all lemonade tasted: fresh, sharp, tangy, fizzy, sweet, refreshing and very satisfying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious drinks for a good price
Ordered a 12 pack when I was at uni, best drinks I've ever had. Prefer them over other popular sodas and they got way less sugar as well while not compromising on the flavour. Perfect to have as a refreshment or while chowing down a Chicken Madras microwave meal from Co-op. 10/10

5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting soft drinks!
I'd never likes soft drinks unti I discovered San Pelligrino. To me these are grown up soft drinks. They are sophisticated and have none of the cheap sugary cloyiness of their cheaper counterparts. Just love all of the flavours offered. As satisfying as alcohol!! Will continue to buy them.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Drink - Especially for PKU Sufferers
As a sufferer of Phenylketonuria or PKU for short, there are many items of food and drink that can, effectively, poison me. It doesn't make me feel special that I am 1 in 300,000; indeed it's a nuisance. People don't understand that simply opening a Diet Pepsi in front of me could make me very unwell, they think I'm being picky, and when a group of people are enjoying anything that contains Aspartame/Phenylalanine, I have to get away from there quickly. Also, as manufacturers reap the double rewards from cutting costs on sugar whilst promoting "Sugar Free" as a health benefit, I lose out as one by one some of my favourite drinks have switched to the AVOID AT ALL COSTS list. But on the other hand, Steviol is safe. This makes San Pellegrino orange safe, and from Bolo, it's not too pricey so long as I look upon it as a treat. Which it is.It's not ridiculously sweet, which is quite refreshing. It has a delicious flavour, the orange is rich and fruity, and, as with A&W Root Beer, it is a drink to enjoy, to savour, not chug down. So whether you are genetically PKU or not, you can happily enjoy a wonderful can of San Pellegrino without fear - it's not loaded with sugar, but it won't poison someone like me.If you DO fancy a sample, I would recommend taking advantage of the Subscribe and Save offer. You can cancel immediately, as I was going to, but when I gave it some thought, I let the subscription ride, and just got my second my delivery today. Cheers everyone!
