I bought these because I am trying to gather a selection of colours in the bonded thread and now have 6 coloursI make bags and purses and find this a great strong thread so the thread won’t tear in the bag but it’s also good for top stitching.I use it with my Juki TL2200 qvp mini…it can be temperamental when using different faux leather which means adjusting either thread or bobbin tension but one you have it right, it is great to use.The main issue I found was that when the cone is sitting on the thread rail, the thread unravels and traps itself causing sewing issues…what I decided to do, and it works is to use the cellophane bag that it has over it when delivered and put in on the cone upside down with a small hole in the top (which would obviously normally be the bottom of the bag), pull the end of the thread through the hole and thread as normal. I know you can use the nets for this but I find them too restrictive for the thread. I put a little tape on the bottom of the cone to hold it in place to stop the thread dropping. I find this helps the thread run smooth and sew well.The thread is very strong and apart from it snags a little where it has rubbed on the thread guide (as do Some other thread) I really like it and is good value. I wish there were more colours such as crimson/darker pink but I would recommend.
