The fit is perfect. I wore it out today in the rain without a coat as it was quite warm. Despite a good wetting it remained warm and dried out very quickly.

This is a super warm, soft and cosy little fleece and I've really enjoyed wearing it around the house instead of turning the heating on!! I agree with other reviewers that it would be so much more functional with pockets! However, the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the first couple of times I wore it, it covered my clothes, sofa and everything it touched in black fluff which wouldn't come off. I washed the fleece to see if that stopped the shed and it has vastly improved. Top tip - wash before you wear to avoid the shedding!
