5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic find
This is a little genius of a product! If you live somewhere where you have to keep your butter in the fridge year-round and it is impossible to spread straight from the fridge because it is so cold and solid, this brilliant knife is the answer! You just scrape it across the top of the butter and using one side you have a serrated edge that produces thinner shreds of butter than would be possible with an ordinary knife and using the other side, which has tiny little holes along the edge, it produces thin little curls of butter that are easy to spread because they are so thin. It is such a simple idea, but so effective! For a small knife, the handle is very solid, which makes it easy to hold and use. I had to contact the vendor before buying it to be sure that it would reach me before I left the UK and they responded very quickly, were very efficient and it reached me in good time.
4.0 out of 5 stars A useful tool
This knife is nice to hold, and does work, but I've given 4 rather than 5 stars because it isn't really effective on hard butter straight from the fridge. It's better once the surface of the butter has softened a little
3.0 out of 5 stars Kinda helps
If you use real butter for spreading then like me you might have been cutting thin slices and resting them on top of the toast to warm up. For butter straight from fridge the small noodle holes are too small for the butter to pass through easily, with repeated scraping it does kinda work but you get a lot of build up on the back side. But the hole on the end of the knife works a lot better, it makes a single medium thickness strand which works quite well. To be honest this is a bit of an unnecessary gadget to clutter your kitchen draws but makes for an interesting gift for the dairy obsessive.
5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting knife !
This is an unusual knife, at least to me ! It works well and is substantial. Use both sides for different effects.
1.0 out of 5 stars Not fit for purpose
We have some old bone handled knives that we’ve been using as butter knives for the last 30 years or so. Unfortunately, the handles have deteriorated, so I thought replacements would be a good idea. I saw this product and thought that as the majority of reviews were positive they must be pretty good, so I bought 2 of them. We tend to use ‘spread’ rather than butter, only because it’s softer and therefore easier to spread. Because it comes in tubs, the knife would be used at at an angle of at least 45° and in this respect picking butter up is really quite difficult. The majority of the butter (spread) goes through the large hole and just leaves a worm in the tub. Using the knife at a shallower angle is difficult because the side of the tub gets in the way, but if you are successful, then the knife is slightly more effective, but even so a lot of the butter just goes through the little holes . When you can actually get better on the knife and try and spread it on the bread, a lot of it goes through the holes, leaving unspread wormcasts of butter on the bread. I feel that I have really wasted my money with these knives and they are not what I was looking for. In my opinion, butter knives should be like the old-fashioned ones, where you have a large spreading area that has a shallow grid engraved on the face of the blade to grip the butter. My mum has always had one of these and I think it’s the best butter knife in the world. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any of these types of product on the market. So, to conclude, I feel that this product is really quite ineffective as a butter, knife and therefore I can only award it one star.
2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected
It's not a easy to use butter knife appears to clog and does not spread easily
5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning Value For Money Koksi Butter Knife, 3 in 1

4.0 out of 5 stars Typical of modern knives
Modern knives have no flexibility. This is the typical hard stainless steel of most current knives. I bought this to replace an old Sheffield Steel knife that had a thin bendy blade. It was ideal for spreading. Too bad they don't make them any more.
Ingen bra produkt.
Fungerar ganska dåligt på vanligt smörgåsmargarin. Det fastnar ändå och river sönder brödet.Det större hålet i änden räddar funktionen lite.
Pas adapté
L’interstice de L’embout est plus qu’inutile et gêne le fonctionnement !
Per il burro non c'è più scampo!
Ottimo prodotto, maneggevole e funzionale. Fa quello che deve fare un coltello per il burro e lo utilizzo anche per la marmellata. Validissimo e super consigliato
