    Using it for timing

    Package arrived alright and seems sturdy enough. Used it a few times and felt the timing was quite off. I'm not expecting exact timings and would've been ok with +/- 30seconds or so. But on timing the sand ran out after 6:30 on a supposedly 10 min sand timer! That is way too off and will be asking for a replacement.

    The stickers were all wrong, I had to time the timer myself to confirm how long it took the sand to get to the other side. The provider did nothing about it (well at least they replied to my message saying they wouldn't do anything about it). Oh and very pink, the color was right...

    I chose the green but it's a light lime colour and nearly impossible to see the sand as it drops. My toddler therefore doesnt find it engaging and it's pointless as a visual timer. If you are purchasing, I'd avoid the green and go for something darker.

    Ich wollte eine robuste, relativ große Sanduhr, um unserem Kind den Zeitverlauf - wie lang sind fünf Minuten denn? - deutlicher zu machen. Diese Sanduhr ist dafür gut geeignet. Aufgrund der Größe kann man das Verrinnen der Zeit im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes verdeutlichen.Vorausgesetzt, das Teil fliegt nicht irgendwann im hohen Bogen an die Wand oder auf Steinfliesen, ist es robust. Einen Absturz auf Teppichboden hat die Sanduhr unbeschadet überstanden.Sie fasst sich angenehm an & sieht mit den blauen Böden gefällig aus. Natürlich wären Holz & Glas schöner gewesen, aber da kommt man in eine andere Preiskategorie. Sucht man eine Sanduhr für Kinder, ist diese meiner Meinung & Erfahrung nach prima geeignet.
