About this item:

  • HOW TO APPLY: The surface must be dry and clean to maximize adhesive contact. After applying one side of the tape to the desired surface, the bond strength will increase as the adhesive flows onto the surface. Please wait before bonding the other side of the tape for the duration given below to let the tape support a maximum weight. WAITING TIME: At room temperature, 50% of the ultimate strength will be achieved after 20 minutes, 75% after 60 minutes, 90% after 24 hours and 100% after 72 hours.
  • 1 roll of 3M VHB Extra strong double sided mounting tape, 3 meter length, 25.4 mm width, 0.6 mm thickness with Box Opener (1PC) by Canopus. Fast and easy-to-use permanent bonding method provides high strength and long-term durability. Virtually invisible fastening keeps surfaces smooth.
  • The 3M VHB Acrylic Foam Tape not only replace rivets, welds, screws, liquid adhesives and other permanent fasteners but also provides convenience and simplicity for use many interior and exterior bonding application. Just peel off the protective film and stick the tape to the surface.
  • Maintanence : Substrate 1 :Glass, High Surface Energy Plastic, Low Surface Energy Plastic, Metal, Paint, Sealed Wood. Substrate 2 : Glass, High Surface Energy Plastic, Low Surface Energy Plastic, Metal, Paint, Sealed Wood.
  • Applications: Can be used indoors or outdoors in a variety of applications. For building operations such as heat insulation, connection, bundling, amendment, sealing and signs.     Most modern Ford’s have a weather door seal glued on. It’s normal to see them hanging off and sticking out of the bottom of a closed door. Well mine came off after the car was 3 years old. This tape works amazingly- just wipe the door and the rubber seal clean and apply the tape. It’s really strong and has worked beautifully.

    This is my second roll of this tape, we have used to fit several number plates, dash cams and various other bits. It sticks well, does not seem to be bothered by weather and when trying to remove it, I almost broke a number plate trying to remove it! Why Bolo asks for review of "Easy to remove" is beyond me, why would you want to remove this? Its meant to be permanent!

    La he usado para fijar una tira LED en la parte posterior de un monitor de 27 pulgadas y se ha fijado de maravilla (con el adhesivo de la propia tira se despegaba continuamente del monitor, en cambio con esta cinta fijada a la tira LED y al monitor no se ha despegado nada, ni siquiera los bordes ni en zonas más curvas del monitor). Recomendable 100%
