    Way better than I expected. Faster than a domestic flat-bed scanner. Whether you can scan a book or not really depends on the spine. As the scans are only for me, I got thin black gloves and hold the books open and use the foot-pedal. This improved on using my fingers which often resulted in my hand(s) being scanned too, resulting in a lot of post editing. One hard lesson - is never to use the powerful editing tools supplied - on your original scans - there is no "undo". I bought the version with the battery. This enabled my working with the laptop in the garden shed where there is no power for the odd hour (over Christmas). Note that the unit can topple over when used on a rickety table. The base is undercut so the mat can be tucked underneath. But the undercutting goes all the way around the unit base instead of being restricted to just the front (where it is needed) creating an unnecessary instability.

    Wer hätte gedacht, dass das Einscannen eines Buches so ratz fatz funktioniert!?Ich will meinen Bücherschrank mal von altem Ballast befreien und alte Uni-Scripte und Bücher wegschmeißen. Aber kann ja sein, dass man die aus irgendeinem Grund nochmal unerwartet braucht.Zudem wollte ich mal Bücher einscannen, um die dann abends nebenbei beim Fernsehen aufm Tablet zu lesen (wenn die Serie mal wieder Längen hat...).Da Bolo beim Umtausch keinen Stress macht, wollte ich jetzt mal so'n Scanner ausprobieren (Blitzangebot und noch n Coupon: unwiderstehlicher Tarif!)Hier meine ersten Eindrücke:positiv:- Gerät ist sehr massiv und wirkt stabil- lässt sich aufm Schreibtisch prima verkleinern oder ausgeklappt als Schreibtischlampe nutzen. Pfiffig!- Aufbau geht schnell und intuitiv.- Auch die Software machte bei der Installation keine Faxen.- Ich habe keinerlei Bedienungsanleitungen gelesen. Es ist wirklich einfach zu bedienen, auch die Software!- Software macht einen modernen Eindruck, was in der Scannerbranche absolut nicht Standard ist!- Konnte 80 Buchseiten einscannen (erster Versuch) und pdf-isieren, ohne Probleme. Text ist fast gerade und durchsuchbar.- Seiten im Batchbetrieb bearbeitbar. Man muss nicht jede einzelne Seite behandeln, wenn man überhaupt etwas nachbearbeiten will oder muss.- Der Automatik-Modus zum Bücherscannen nach umblättern ist genial und funktioniert tatsächlich!- Die gelben Barcodeanfasser zum Seiten-Festhalten werden zuverlässig herausgerechnet.neutral:- Gerät ist schmal und sollte auf einem stabilen Tisch stehen. Sonst könnte es umkippen.- benötigt eigene Stromversorgung. USB reicht nicht.- benötigt eine große freie Fläche für das schwarze A3-Gummipad. Ohne schwarze Unterlage funzt die Ausrichtungs-Automatik nicht!negatig:- Weissabgleich schon in der Vorschau wäre schon gut. Die automatische Optimierung macht das scheinbar beim speichern. Aber man sieht es halt nicht vorher.- Die Kabel sind zu kurz. Und das ist wirklich ärgerlich. Das Gerät braucht ja nun viel Platz zum Scannen. Will man das abseits seines Schreibtisches (Computers) betreiben, dann kommt man mit dem USB-Host und dem Netzkabel nicht hin. Fürs Netz brauch man irgendwo ne Steckdose in der Nähe oder ein Verlängerungskabel. Das hat man ja noch im Haus. Aber n USB-Host-Kabel muss man sich wahrscheinlich noch bestellen.Die negativen Punkte reichen aber nicht, um einen ganzen Stern abzuziehen.Insgesamt ein sehr schönes und gelungenes Produkt, welches hard- und softwaremäßig funktioniert und endlich mal wieder Laune macht!

    Attenzione !In alcuni casi la presenza dell'antivirus può rendere inutilizzabile il software e, conseguentemente, l'apparecchio. In tal caso è pertanto necessario disattivare momentaneamente l'antivirus ed interrompere prudenzialmente il collegamento con internet, al fine di poter utilizzare proficuamente lo scanner.Di quest'ultimo non si può che parlarne bene. Rapido nelle scansioni, ottime le riproduzioni (sempre suscettibili di ulteriori reimpostazioni, attraverso i programmi di elaborazione di immagine) lo scanner mi ha consentito di digitalizzare archivi di intere annate, riversando e catalogando le immagine con estrema facilità. E' prezioso strumento nelle mani dei professionisti che abbiano la necessità di conservare le immagini riducendone il volume. Assolutamente consigliato

    emballage du fabricant parfait, précis, rigoureux. scanner facile à mettre en place. très bon niveau de duplication pour livres et documents. beaucoup moins bien qu'un scanner à plat pour les photos. mais c'est normal, ce n'est pas sa raison d'être. corrige parfaitement les courbures liées aux dos des livres pour mettre les documents "bien à plat". très rapide, pédale au pied fort utile et fait gagner du temps pour se concentrer sur les pages à tourner. ai essayé aussi scanning langue Anglaise, très bons résultats avec l'OCR. j'en suis très satisfait. je recommande.

    Ich habe mir den Scanner zur Digitalisierung von Büchern und Texten gekauft.Der Versand erfolgte schnell, das Produkt war gut verpackt und machte einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Die Einrichtung und Installation am Mac ging sehr schnell und einfach.Die Digitalisierung eines 400 Seiten starken Fachbuches als durchsuchbares Pdf Dokument ist innerhalb von 20 Minuten erledigt und eine Riesen Erleichterung. Weiterhin korrigiert die Software gewellte Seiten automatisch, das Ergebnis kann sich wirklich sehen lassen!Die Auflösung, gerade was kleine Abbildungen in Büchern angeht, könnte etwas besser sein, aber für den Preis ist das Gerät wirklich unschlagbar. Weiterhin liegt mein Fokus hauptsächlich auf der Texterfassung, daher gebe ich fünf von fünf Sternen!
