5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent.
Bought to cut through flag stones. Does the job perfectly. Plenty of dust mind.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good machine. It takes 22.3mm blades and 20mm standard blades.
I have a large concrete slab to cut down. It's working well. This saw is quieter and lighter than my petrol saw which I struggle with due to the weight. It cuts just as well. I can manage it despite my bad back! The supplied orange 300 mm blade is not great but cuts OK. There is not much diamond compound on it. Some reviews complain it only takes 22.3 mm blades but this is not the case. The 22.3 driving boss on the blade spindle is reversible and the other side is for 20mm blades. I put an OX 20x300 mm concrete blade on which cuts better. Its a real bonus it takes both sizes of blade. I got the standard dry version but it was simple to remove the blanking plugs in the guard and poke some silicone tube through to water cool it. It's seen quite a bit of use in the past couple of weeks. I hope it lasts
5.0 out of 5 stars Just the job
Lightweight and easy to handle with a great grip. Just ensure that you get the right blade for the job. I used it to cut porcelain slabs with a diamond blade which cut the porcelain paving slabs with ease.
4.0 out of 5 stars Fairly quiet, but very very heavy!
Ok, so I bought this to replace my Makita DPC6410 which failed due to the spark plug threads stripping out. I use it for cutting metal from cars. It starts, it works. I don't have the dust issues of others, so dust extraction wasn't a problem. The quality of the saw is superb. Odd centre bore size making all of my Makita discs unusable. But this thing is way way heavier than a Sthil or Makita petrol unit making it very difficult to use if you are not strong enough... It's a leviathan folks...

1.0 out of 5 stars Blade Missing
I purchased the Evolution Power Tools R300DCT+ Disc Cutter, Concrete Saw, Cut Off Saw and when it arrived there was no blade with it (it was advertised with a blade). I contacted Evolution and to date, i have not had a reply. Bolo guidance was to contact the manufacturer, they did not provide any real assistance to resolve this issue. I had to purchase an additional blade to do the work i had planned. Tool is okay, customer service and lack of parts was very poor
5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job on Indian stone patio
I thought the water dust suppression would be a faff and awkward, but it works really well and makes the job a lot less dusty. Connects easily to a hose pipe having a Hozelock(R) type connector. and there is a tap on the cutter to control the water spray. The disc supplied cuts very well, although expensive as a consumable part. The cutter is heavy but still accurate and controllable. Runs better going forward, and easier to see what's happening. I could also cut curves, but the radius is limited by the size of the 300 mm disc. you can do tighter convex curves than concave. Advise use full eye protection dust protection & ear defenders - which is the most awkward part - wearing the uncomfortable protection. I found it was best to do the first skim with out water spray to score the line of cut, then turn the water on for dust suppression. I can highly recommend. Well done Evolution. Nice piece of kit. did a 6m x 5m patio plus stairs, and can also cut through building blocks.
