Silent, sturdy, easy to assemble and a joy to ride. I am a beginner but well worth the money also for the echelon membership as it's a real motivatior. This bike at this price is a MUST, don't bother with Pelaton for silly money!

Very easy to put together, easily a one person job ,but it is very heavy . It was well padded in box -trip to the tip with all the packing,just as well as on delivery the guy managed to get a hold in the outer box 📦I’ve put it on a yoga mat ,certainly feels very sturdy and solid .Im 5”2 so sorting the right height took a few attempts.Very ,very quiet which was a major importance with living in a flat ,Looks very smart but as it’s heavy moving it around ie to another room even with the wheels might be a choreThe foot cage is poor cheap plastic for the price but I believe these can be changed .The Seat is a major problem!! It’s Rock hard ! There’s no way to adjust the tilt of the seat 😵💫 unless someone can tell me how to do that ,I’ve bought a padded seat cover but still very uncomfortable for me even with my fat butt !I’ve used the app a few times but I’ve linked zwift now via Qz ,will use the free app of echelon some are very good ,I will use it until it run's out and will consider other apps Overall a great bike but that seat 😭😵💫 Happy purchase* update * now solved the seat position ,unlock the two bolts either side of seat then reposition and retighten the bolts

I choose this bike over peloton because youtube reviewers gave good reviews and also mainly for the price tag. Its sturdy, easy to install urself, instructions on booklet and the youtube channel are easy to follow, good built quality, easy connectivity to the app.However, problem was: 1-it seems like u have to purchase the membership in order to use the app entirely. That was irritating since it costed alot. I intended to use with peloton app since i was active peloton member. And buying a echolon membership makes it almost the same price as a peloton bike. Additionally if u want to use it freestyle then the cadence, watts and resistance are displayed with echolon ads taking more airtime and screen space. Extremely annoying. 2- i was not able to connect my apple watch to their. Seemed like i needed to download another app for that. 3- i wanted to use peloton app for my workouts. For that i purpose i needed to use 2 screens in front of me. One for the analytics and other for peloton app. No option for widget/split screen/bubble. So this is too much to bother with if u have a difficult routine to start with and too spoilt to bother with all of this.Echolon customer service was good. They refunded me the membership fees. Bolo was spot on with the deliver and return pickup. Echolon refunded the money on return.This cycle is good. But smart cycle only makes sense if the app is good enough that makes it worth it buying it. Otherwise its better buying a cycle with screen or just a peloton.

I recently needed to upgrade my 4 year old bike and decided to invest more into a new model, I have seen the Echelon bike before and decided it was worth spending more money for a better bike, I am bot disappointed, the bike was easy to assemble, it me and husband 30 mins to put together, the instructions were easy to follow. The bike is extremely quiet and smooth, So far so good.
2.0 out of 5 stars Potential to be a fantastic bike but poorly made
The media could not be loaded. I will try to keep this concise however my experience with this bike/Echelon has been long and painful. I unfortunately do not have pictures as I no longer own the bike, I have just provided a video which I used to send customer support. To start off I love how this bike looks and rides. It doesn’t have the heaviest of flywheels but still good for the price. Nor does it have the heaviest resistance but more than enough for the average person. I also love that you can use it with your own tablet, in my case I wanted to use my Peloton App to do Peloton classes on this bike. It’s worth noting that if you want to do this you will need a second screen in order to display the bike metrics. I would have my phone to the side showing my bike stats and my class playing on my iPad on the stand. My iPad was also always secure on the handlebar stand. The handlebars are comfortable to grip and provide good positioning to adopt hand position 1, 2 and 3 during classes. I personally didn’t enjoy the Echelon spin classes on the app which are performed to non mainstream and non motivating music. You get a free trial of the membership when you provide proof of purchase in order to trial the classes but must remember to cancel or you will be charged. You can still use the app without a membership in order to see your cadence/resistance/distance etc when using the bike.Now, after setting this bike up I encountered problems from my first ride. The Bluetooth would constantly drop out mid ride for no reason and then flicker on and off repeatedly before connecting again properly. This is demonstrated in the video provided which I sent to customer support. When I reported the issue I had to provide all kinds of screenshots of my model of iPad, current software versions of my ipad, my current version of the Echelon app, The firmware version of the bike, bike serial number etc etc along with a video of the problem occurring which was tricky to capture without filming constantly. Details a lot of people would have struggled to get. I then had to perform resets for them and various other problem shooting tasks to no avail. After tens of e-mails back and forth they agreed the Bluetooth unit was faulty and would send another one out. Only once this was delivered to me (a week later) would they arrange an appointment for the engineer to attend, another week later. Engineer attends, replaces unit, connectivity issue is solved however a resistance issue begins in that the resistance on the screen doesn’t correlate to the resistance on the bike. After then having to provide further video evidence of this problem they send out another Bluetooth unit which was received a week later before they arranged another engineer visit for a further week later. Engineer attends and concludes he is unable to resolve the problem and doesn’t know what to suggest. Before being able to take this further with Echelon they say they need the engineers report back, which takes another week. They get the report back and say they are reviewing it internally and will be back in touch. When I then chase it again with them the person I was dealing with had left the company (this is 2 months after purchasing the bike at this point). I then dealt with the customer service manager who apologised for my experience so far and said it was time to replace the bike. They provided me with a different model of bike saying there is known connection problems with this bike and apple products. I got my new bike, put it together and the Bluetooth connection dropped out at the end of my first ride. I asked to return the product and they said I’d have to take it all apart and package up all the individual parts in the same way it was delivered before collection could be arranged. This was not realistic, I had already spent hours problem shooting, assembling 2 bikes and e-mailing customer service back and forth about this bike over the course of 3 months which is time I didn’t have as a new mum and as the Bluetooth drop out was far less frequent on the new bike I ended up exhausted and leaving it. Still now I wish that this original bike just worked as it was meant to and I’d be more than happy with it. I love the potential for this bike, hence giving any stars at all, but the execution means I can only give 2 stars maximum. Echelon as a company I would give 0 stars, which is somewhat in-keeping with their Trustpilot reviews. The Echelon app/classes I would give 2 stars, however I would never pay for it. I do hope my tearing my hair out helps someone with their decision on this product.
