This was ordered in the UK on the UK Bolo site but the item shipped is a USA version with a USA mains plug adapter. Luckily, I had a suitable UK plugged adapter and the actual Roku box sets up OK for UK streaming. I know this can also be used with the TV USB power but this is not ideal. The item photo did show a USA two pin adapter but it is not clear whether this is a generic photo or the actual item. Mains power plug configuration should really be stated in the specification. Other than this it is performing as expected.

Great product, setup in minutes, YOU CAN DECLINE TO ADD A PAYMENT METHOD DURING THE SETUP PROCESS OF YOUR ROKU ACCOUNT, Enclosed HDMI is very short = about 50cm, utilises 5Ghz wifi, Unfortunately I couldn’t use the enclosed USB plug as it’s for the US with no clip on adapters supplied for EU use etc, no problem though as I just used one I already had (the old USB-A) but I’m sure this will annoy people here, more so if it was USB-C, but it’s not. This model features a voice remote, but note this remote isn’t like previous versions which also have a 3.5mm audio jack out on the remote for private listening, download the app to, it helps to add channels seamlessly and acts as a wifi remote control, device automatically connected to Bolo Alexa “alexa, launch spotify” great stuff, this is my second Roku device, main is a hardwired (ethernet) Roku Ultra 4670RW, worth a comparison as I always prefer a hardwired connection where possible.

On initial set-up the Roku insisted on having my credit/debit card details *before* it would complete the set-up. A quick web search turned up a link to Roku that allows a way to complete the set up without entering your card details but sheesh .... what an absolute scumbag move from Roku. I needed this item to replace my previous Roku that got damaged due to an electrical fault otherwise I would have immediately returned the item for a refund due to the attempts by Roku to get my card details. Unless you desperately need a Roku, avoid this item and buy an alternative streaming stick.

I installed a third party movie streaming app easily enough through an ip server on my pc however after maybe a month the app disappeared from the Roku. I tried to access the server link given in the settings but it refused to connect every time. I tried a new account, the new account via a vpn in case they blocked my routers IP, but still no joy. The Roku was bricked for third party installation. However if you plan to use it for a legitimate device as I did with itv and YouTube you will have no problem at all. It has apple airplay built in so there is zero lag and easy to connect to with apple devices for screen mirroring with sound. If you want a good device for apk files go in the direction of a firestick or a google home tv device.
Stepped up with a new Roku upgrade!
This is our second Roku purchase but our very first brand new one as our first one was given to us used from a friend. We were afraid that buying a new one to have for our other tv would be too expensive but were pleasantly surprised to find this one on Bolo at such a good price! Easy to set up and use with unlimited streaming capability! Did not disappoint!

Sprachfernbedienung
Leider war keine Sprachfernbedienung wie beschrieben, sonst noch die alte.Auch hat die Fernbediung keinen Ein/Aus Schalter wie besprochen. Sehr schade.
Good streaming device
The piece sold to me to me by Global Klamp came with box slightly torn but seemed unused. The box came to me heavily shrink-wrapped in an ad-hoc way in a well cushioned cardboard box. Otherwise I got what I asked for.
