    I needed a new battery for my Harley, 1600 cc air cooled v-twin, it never spins up quickly although it starts well, with this battery it spins up quick, quicker than it ever has, it is like fitting a high torque starter, very impressive. The weight is the next thing, it is about a fifth of the weight of the gel battery it replaces, I needed both hands to lift the old one out, I put this one in with one hand, I like the options for cable attachment as well. The only thing I would like to see is extra terminal screws to take advantage of the multiple points of connection. The five year guarantee gives piece of mind as well. Price is a good £70 less than the Harley branded lithium.

    The media could not be loaded.  First thoughts:ProsBig battery with a fairly slim profile.12v vehicle/leisure battery.No dangerous liquids to spill or leak.Took around 4 hours to fully recharge with my charger.ConsNothing to note so far.Takes around 4 hours to fully recharge with my existing Noco charger that I use for my AGM car battery, and this is of similar quality so I’ve been very impressed so far with their approach to battery tech.I’ve found the battery incredibly useful as a leisure battery in the van or for comfort camping in my 8-man tent, and I use a smaller NPL5 in my SuperSport motorcycle.Details and things to note (See pictures and video):12v and no liquids inside the main housing. Suitable as a leisure battery as well as for vehicles with a smaller, thinner battery bay.Reliable starts and stable power output as a power bank, no issues with it since I've been using it.Very lightweight considering its capacity and power output.Final thoughts:A powerhouse that delivers even power output, charges reasonably quickly with my older smart charger but apparently charges much faster with later models (see chart in my pictures), but most importantly for me is that it operates like a household battery rather than the acid filled ones of old.So if you’re looking for a large power bank or a replacement vehicle battery then I’d be happy to recommend trying one of these (even more so if you already use a Noco intelligent charger of some description).

    Lithium batteries are amongst some of the best types out there at the moment and these Powersport ones from NOCO are fantastic and seriously overengineered, I know it’s just a battery but it performs great and looks amazing, it’s a shame it will be most likely hidden from view.The NLP30 battery was delivered safely, and it comes well packaged inside a very premium looking retail box. As well as the battery you get 2x 3-way terminals, 4x M6 Hex screws and an allen key.The NLP30 is a 7.8Ah lithium-Ion battery (equivalent to 31.6Ah lead acid battery) with a starting current of 700A, a continuous current of 80A and a charging current of 24A max. I was surprised by how lightweight this battery is, coming in at just 2.27kg which is ideal for people who like to keep the weight down on their vehicles.The quality of the battery is fantastic, everything looks super well-made using quality components and plastics. It’s even IP66 waterproof rated so it’s perfect for use in off road vehicles or wet environments.If you know how to replace a battery, then the installation should be a piece of cake and the battery comes fully pre-charged. The 3-way terminals give you multiple installation points depending on where your battery leads come out from.The built-in advanced battery management system ensures the battery operates correctly and efficiently. Its packed full of safety features and requires no maintenance over its long lifetime.The battery should be compatible with most vehicles of any age, just make sure your alternator and wiring are in good working order and you should be good to go. If you wish to charge it then make sure the charger is capable of charging lithium-based batteries like the NOCO GENIUS5.The battery might not be at 100% performance in cold weather so you might need to turn a few auxiliary systems on like your lights to warm the battery first before starting your vehicle, a slight drawback compared to a lead acid battery, but it probably doesn’t get cold enough in the UK to make much of a difference anyway.Overall, I have so many good things to say about this battery, its packed full of technology and the quality couldn’t really be any higher. Yes, it’s quite expensive compared with other batteries but this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. It’s certainly a product I’m very happy to recommend and I feel it’s worth the full five stars, if you want the best then buy this battery!

    I put it into an older 98 Mustang GT, starts better than any other lead acid I've ever had. Its super light and even better it fit laying down in the battery tray and the clamp worked great to hold it down, but I still added another strap to make sure it stays in place. VERY HAPPY!

    Bought this for my HD street glide..it takes a good battery to crank these over, I was skeptical at first..but this is twice the battery of any oem or agm battery. Much lighter, and it has a lot more cranking amperage. They are pricey but worth it imo. Would buy again
