This digital piano has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The sound quality is outstanding. The 88 fully weighted keys provide an authentic playing experience that mimics the feel of an acoustic piano. The materials and the pedals are also well-made and provide a responsive and realistic playing experience. What I appreciate most about this digital piano is its versatility. It has a variety of features that allow me to customize my playing experience to suit my preferences. In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Alesis Prestige Artist – 88 Key Digital Piano to anyone looking for a high-quality, versatile, and authentic playing experience. The sound quality, materials, and features are all exceptional, and I am confident that this piano will exceed your expectations. If you are a professional pianist, a serious student, or a passionate music enthusiast, then the Alesis Prestige Artist is a fantastic choice
5.0 out of 5 stars real feel piano with extra features
comes with quality sustain pedal and the keys are so realistic light feel on high notes and more effort on the low end of the scale also expression is possible as the keys are velocity and pressure sensitive. there is a good selection of sounds for a dedicated stand alone unit and the polyphonic capabilities are wonderful no fall out of any notes when using multi player . i use mine to send signals to the Mac when recording software instruments through the usb midi output .. which is also used for the lesson softwareI think the quality of this unit is very good. it is not a general midi instrument and it does not pretend to be .the sound through the internal speakers is good quality and the head phone ports are also goodif you were to use as a stage piano an external amp and speakers would be required. the internal speakers are good but good in a small room environment . I find the effects such as reverb and arpeggiator a bit of a gimmick and would not choose to use themvery happy with this purchase
4.0 out of 5 stars Great sound, very good price
A fantastic piano action which feels responsive and has decent weight without being an effort to play - it's enjoyable. The sounds are OK - there are two acoustic piano sounds that are definitely easy on the ear, and I like the choir pad sound, but some of the others are a little mediocre. As a master keyboard which is easily portable and makes a great stage piano too, though, it's ideal and worth every penny.
5.0 out of 5 stars Beginners impression
I've wanted to learn the people for years after dabbling a bit when I was younger but have been put off by buying an acoustic piano due to space restrictions. Now you can buy a weighted piano for under £400 I thought I'd get one this year. I didn't want to spend any more as maybe it'll be a fad especially with my children. This one from Alesis ( Alesis recital grand) was £290 in the black Friday sales so I took the plunge.I have to say I am not disappointed. It feels like a real acoustic piano to me. With my untrained hands I can feel the graded weighted action too, so I am very happy with the feel.Sounds wise, it sounds like a piano. I think you can tell it's not an acoustic one when you are close up but from 10 feet away, I personally don't hear any difference. When you hear the demo tunes from the other side of the room, it is a fantastic sound. So could you get a better sounding digital piano for £290 I doubt it.Could you get a better feeling digital piano for £290 I very much doubt it.Very pleased with this as was going out on a limb buying it after reading the few reviews that are about, but I think in 12 months time this will turn out to be a very popular digital piano.P.S. 2 months on, I am now playing with 2 hands and very happy with my Alesis, I think the feel more than anything else is impressive. I've had some people touch it and say...how come the bass end keys are harder to press than the trebble end...then I bore them about how great the piano is. So I have no regrets about buying this and my children are now showing a real interest in learning,
5.0 out of 5 stars In love with this!
I bought this from warehouse with a hefty discount as it was labelled "used - acceptable". It was pristine and nothing missing!I wanted something to play at home to de-stress and do something a bit creative. I'm no pro...just a hobby. For this, it's absolutely brilliant. I dare say advanced pianists would want something more, but for me it's perfect. It has a lovely piano tone, feels good to play (again, to the novice, probably not the pro) and is being enjoyed by the family.I've also managed to midi link to gageageband and use samples from my Mac and feed these straight back into the keyboard with a jack cable, thus significantly increasing the sound options. For what I use this for, I can't fault it. Especially since I got it sub £300!
5.0 out of 5 stars For a beginner, magnificent.
Just starting out learning piano and the Recital Grand has been excellent.Just enough functionality for getting started, with great sound and well engineered weighted keys.I would recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars I love this piano.
The media could not be loaded. A like the quality sensation of the tiles.I like everything the only things I don't like is that I don't know use the pedals properly and I don't know how configure the sound reverb ..Hall stage room to make sound the piano like in the videos.but it's not the piano it me.I am very beginner so my opinion is no professional .In am very happy with this piano.eureka I find the solution I have to step the pedal 1 and 3 and then, the sound it became beautiful so nice to hear .
5.0 out of 5 stars Superbly playable keybed, very good stock sounds
I didn't expect much from this but I was wrong. For the price it's a total winner. The keybed is great, the stock sounds are well worth it and the responsiveness to velocity spot on. The speakers could be better but I'm being picky.Well done Alesis
Perfecto para iniciar
Es triple b:BuenoBonitoBaratoClaro con sus cositas no lo podemos comparar a elementos de mayor precio y cumple con las expectativas c:9.9/10
Good for beginner / intermediate
Weighted keys, full range keys , quite adequate for small rock group. If you’re looking for professional performance instrument with a zillion different sounds, keep looking , this won’t meet your needs , but is quite hot for average user
Impressive at the price point.
Model I have: Alesis Prestige Artist - (30 Voices/256 notes polyphony)Context:I'm no pianist. So take this with a grain of salt. Learning to play the piano is a bucket-list item, and a bit of an old dream.Pros/cons.The piano is well packaged.Very sober & classy appearance.Menu is simple to use & understand.Sound through both speakers and headphones is very impressive both in quality and volume-wise.Keys are solid-feeling, a bit "thumpy" on the return, but not a deal breaker.Sustain pedal is a solid affair. After watching many "For beginners" piano reviews and lists of suggested models at I've realized that most suggestions are overboard on budgets required. One piano teacher running a YT channel called "Jeremy See" suggested a Alesis amongst others in a video, and after watching a load of vids, I kept coming back to this one. So, It's now in my studio.I've made my choice a while ago, and perhaps recommendations around the web have changed, but my mind was set.
