This Deluxe Pistachio & Cashew Mix Baklava comes in a really nice presentation box. Thick cardboard opens on a hinge restrained by a gold ribbon. The base is metallic gold and the sweets just look intricate and fabulous. The best before date is around 7 months away.The packaging is a bit overboard with cellophane as the whole box is covered and then when you open it up there's more over the sweets too - but I guess it helps keep them fresh. The inner box actually lifts out of the main display box making it great for putting on a tray or table for sharing.I'm a Coeliac so can't eat them as they contain gluten, but luckily my wife and her mother volunteered to try them on my behalf.My personal memories of Baklava is that they're sickly sweet and dripping with sticky syrup. These don't look that way to me. They actually look quite dry, although they are sticky to the touch and were quite hard to get out of the box as some of them wanted to just stick to the base. The nut ones do look absolutely crammed with either pistachio or cashew though.My wife and her mother were both impressed with the presentation. Neither were experienced baklava consumers, but quickly demolished a good quantity of them whilst vocalising approving sounds such as ‘mmmm’ and ‘oh’. They said they were nutty, tasty, sticky on the outside. Not particularly moist nor dry on the inside. Whilst they couldn't comment on the authenticity or comparison with similar products, they definitely liked them!

The media could not be loaded. This box of baklava is good, gift worthy, but not amazing.The packaging is very nice and the presentation great, however the 100g box is not massive by any means so for me it is not ideal for sharing with more than two people.The baklava is fresh and OK but, the syrup is lacking and I've had better. As such you don't get sticky fingers, but that sweetness I associate with baklava, is just so subdued.If you prefer that, then this is a good, small, gift worthy set, but if you like the strong syrup baklava, this disappoints somewhat.

Certainly a luxury price but the quality reflects this.I enjoyed these a lot, not overly sweet like some lower quality Baklava.Some offered a nice chew, others a decent crunch. It was fun to make myself a little selection plate to go with a coffee as an afternoon treat.

I love baklava. It's pretty much the ultimate luxury dessert, in my humble opinion. If I'm gonna eat it, I get it from the Turks, who both invented it and perfected it. I've gotta be careful with this stuff, as it has the vicious combo of being both fattening and devastatingly addictive. Still, for an occasional treat, nothing beats it. I've had this Zaitoune baklava before, and it's lovely. It all comes packaged in a neat box, and looks as premium as it tastes. You don't get too much inside, but what you do get it high quality. From the nuts, to the syrup, it's all delicious. Easy recommendation for baklava lovers, or those who just enjoy quality dessert treats.

This baklava gift box looks great and would definitely make a nice gift, but the quality is a bit inconsistent. The pistachio ones are crisp and buttery but others feel a bit too dry. It’s also a shame there’s no menu card to tell you what each piece is.

Well presented box of baklava. The pistachio baklava was very sweet and fresh with a definite strong pistachio taste throughout. Quality of the baklava seemed great, but for the quantity provided at the current price, I think it doesn’t offer great value. A great gift for a pistachio lover.

I loved this box of bakalava! The box is elegant and the pastries were delicious. I had to take away one star only because some of the fillings melted out of the pastries. I definitely recommend this !
Really Tasty Pistachio & Cashew Mix Baklava!!
I quite enjoyed the different pieces of Pistachio & Cashew Mix Baklava in this tiny package. The flavor was nice and nutty in most pieces with just a little bit of sweetness with nice and flaky dough. I really wish the pieces were secured in the box a bit more as a lot of them were destroyed as they move around in the box within their little section. All in all this would be a nice gift for someone who likes different desserts from around the world.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 Stars): An excellent brand and product, offering great value.⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 Stars): Really good, with minor imperfections.⭐⭐⭐ (3 Stars): Average—solid but not outstanding.⭐⭐ (2 Stars): Has some issues worth noting.⭐ (1 Star): Avoid at all costs!
A lovely little baklava sampler
I brought this out at a small get-together with friends and it was gone in a rush; it was so much fun sampling the different types of baklava contained in this nice little variety gift box. Both the outer and inner box were plastic-wrapped which helped keep the individual pieces fresh and airy, and the taste and texture of each was as expected (delicious). It's a small pack, but for the amount and variety you get I feel it's pretty fair. Definitely an unexpectedly fun and nice treat.
Decent baklava
The box is beautiful and the baklava is good, but the pieces are very tiny. Everything tastes fresh with good flavor and the phylo is very crunchy, which was a nice surprise since most of the packaged baklava I've tried in the past has become chewy and almost unpleasant after sitting in the box for a long period.I did not care for the cashew pieces. Those were a bit gummy as it seems the cashews had become a bit soft, but the pistachio pieces were wonderful. The other disappointment was the presentation, which is not necessarily a seller issue. The pieces were mostly intact, but a there was a lot of stickiness and some of the pieces were unidentifiable, but I believe that was due to the shipping and handling. It would have been better if the pretty box was shipped by Bolo in a cushioned box and not a plain plastic envelope.I feel that these are a little bit on the pricey side, but the quality is nice and therefore I can justify $9. My family and I enjoyed this box.
Pistachio baklava gift box
I opened up this little baklava gift box for dessert with a couple of dinner guests. They were impressed with the box, but not as much as the interior presentation. The pieces seemed a bit crowded togetherb and my guests wanted to use their fingers instead of the serving tongs I provided. I thought the flavor was just okay... It kind of tasted like pastry pie crust, just maybe a little stale tasting. One guest thought they tasted horrible since he prefers much sweeter confections. I thought it is a decent price for a gift but this isn't going to impress everyone.
