I am very impressed with these clocks/alarms/timers, but I don't know about longevity. I have figured out how they work by trial & error, as the instructions are a puzzle.To answer questions asked by Louise. The timers could be attached to a lanyard. They measure 8x7.5x1.5cm & weigh 65 grams including 1 AAA battery. There is a small tab on the back at the top of the timer which pulls out & has a small hole in it which would take the lanyard. The timer can be set for 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds. I would say they are NOT waterproof.To set alarm 1 press mode button once more after the timer function shows on the screen. There will be a row of zeros. Using the time buttons for hours,minutes & seconds, set the desired time & then press the start/stop button. A bell icon will appear on the screen, to cancel press the start/stop button again, the icon will disappear. Each time you press stop/start button it will alter the alarm to on or off. If the alarm is not turned off it will activate every 24 hours. To deactivate go to alarm mode & press start/stop button until the icon disappears.To mute the sound press the cancel button in clock mode, to reactivate sound press cancel again. when mute is activated a bell with a line through it shows on the top left side of the screen.The unit can be put into sleep mode by holding down the stop/start for 3 seconds & brought back to life by holding down stop/start button for 1 second. Photo 1 shows sleep mode which will still operate the clock & alarms by waking up when the time is up. For the alarms to function accurately the clock must be set to the correct time.The timer mode can be set both up or down by pressing the mode button until timer is shown on the screen, entering the desired countdown time & pressing stop/start button. To use as a stopwatch press cancel to obtain a row of zeros & then press stop/start button. To pause both countdown or timer settings press stop/start as required.If anyone still doesn't understand how to set up this timer, ask a question & I will do my best to answer it. I think they are great value for 4 very useful alarm clocks & timers & all 4 of mine work perfectly.

Timers look okay, but on two of them the battery covers wouldn’t shut once a battery was inserted and the ones that did work did seem a little convoluted in terms of how to get different modes working

Cheaply made, screen display okay but could be stronger, magnet works but it's not very strong & is badly positioned so the clip snaps back each time it's removed from a metal surface.Instructions are tiny writing & even if you can read them they don't read well at all. I'm not convinced everything is in there. Each has a clock function, two alarms, and count down / up function. I think I've just about worked out how the alarms work through trial and error - but it's not exactly intuitive.Very bizarrely one battery cover has some additional plastic which stops it going back on when the battery is in. The others were fine. Didn't want to send the whole lot back just for that, but did get a partial refund when I complained.

I find them very pretty and they work well. The only thing i think the seller should change is the battery back bit as it is hard to close it (the pink one i had that issue with) omce the battery is in. However its an overall good product.
