I've now got 10 of these units in the garage, my workshop, and in the loft and they're great. Easy to fit, nice and bright, quite robust and remarkably good value. Fortunatley, given where they're fitted, I haven't needed to test how waterproof they are however!

People who read any of my reviews know that I am trying to maintain a house which has an Alzheimer's sufferer living in it.In this case the kitchen light went out. Convinced it was the light unit I replaced it with this LED fitting. Instead the wiring in the ceiling turned out to be at fault with some "interesting " approaches to connecting the fitting. Despite this I found the unit easy to install and the light from it is certainly bright.The light is completely flexible, which gives an impression of flimsiness. However it made it easier to install on a ceiling which probably hasn't been flat for a great many years.There are just two wires to connect, live and neutral. There is no overabundance of cable to deal with - it is in fact barely up to the task.I cannot vouch for the longevity of the unit having just installed it. A number of reviews pointed to the unit expiring in only a few months, which, given the head scratching around those wiring connectors in the ceiling I hope will not be proven correct in this case.If I am stung I may well be adding an addendum to this review in the future.

These were good value and acceptable quality, not super strong construction but more than good enough for home applications. Good white light - not often the case when shrouded LEDs - sealed cable entry for good safe and a long operation life I hope. - Highly recommended as florescent replacement.

This batten light is lightweight and bright and is fairly easy to install, provided you can join wires together. I already have several of these lights of varying lengths installed and this one was to replace another 2ft light which had finally given up the ghost. It was installed in a place where is was subject to a lot of kitchen steam so I am not surprised it failed after 4 years of constant use. I highly recommend these lights and will re-order when necessary.

Ich habe die LEDS gewählt, um die LSR auszutauschen. Tatsächlich passten die kompletten Lampen, wie sie geliefert werden, in die alten Feuchtraum-LSR-Plastikbehälter. Sprich: Elektrik und Röhre alt raus und neue rein, Kabel dran und die alte Box, die die Feuchtigkeit raus halten sollte, wieder zu. Endlich kein Warten mehr, bis die Leuchtstoffröhren angehen.
