I used these in training and with beta fuel drinks for a 12 hour time trial. They taste pretty good, but they are so easy to eat, no choking down like some gels. Enough flavour to be "nice" but not so much that they are acidic and cause issues (for me). They are more of a firm jelly than a chew, easier to eat than say a Blok, with no residue or bits stuck in teeth like a gummie. In a jam you can bit and swallow but I took the time to enjoy mine.The nice thing is you can eat half, put the remainder in your pocket and then finish it later. For me these work really well as part of an 80g/carb per hour nutrition strategy, no stomach issues for me but do test and build up to higher levels of intake.If it was winter you could do these and as much water as you needed, for long or more intense stuff they can be used a good way to just fill in gaps in carb intake.I plan to use these again for competition, and they are worth the money if you get at a sensible price.

I bought these last minute for my first marathon. They taste good, are easy to eat while running and didn't upset my stomache at all. Definitely recommend 👌🏻

Really liked these for energy during rides. Much prefer these in terms of texture to traditional energy bars, kind of like eating raw jelly (or bloc shots) and still have good levels of carbs.Not cheap so wouldn’t use on easy rides but great fuel when you need it

This is a type of product I have not come across before - usually I would have gone for liquid gel packs to fuel my runs or cycling endeavours, or to pre-empt a HIIT session at the gym. This product is more like a pack of un-made jelly - almost like it is something you’re supposed to turn into something else - like astronaut food. But in reality you’re to consume it as-is, and it is quite nice and tasty with strong orange-flavouring that it manages to achieve without using artificial sweeteners.They are aimed at those who are looking to get a lot of carbs into their system quickly for a sustained effort, so it is quite a specific target audience, but it seems like they’ve hit the mark pretty well.Not sure about the name of the product as ‘beta fuel’ could give the impression that it is ‘fuel for betas’ and nobody would want to refer to themselves as a ‘beta’.For a price of about £1.60 per chew they are more expensive per dose than standard gels, but if you reserve these for just the appropriate occasions then they may well be worth it.
Besser als Gel (für mich), Langstreckentauglich
Gels von SIS nutze ich seit Jahren, ich vertrage die gut, die Geschmacksrichtungen gefallen mir.Für eine sehr lange Ausfahrt (Vätternrunde) suchte ich etwas mit dem ich das Maximum an Kohlenhydraten zuführen kann. Die Riegel haben eine gute Konsistenz man kann abbeißen und den Rest wieder verstauen.Die Mischung an verwendeten verschieden Zucker (Verfügbarkeit)funktionierte für mich richtig gut. Das die Riegel für längere Einheiten gedacht sind würde ich bestätigen. Ich war einige Zeit unterwegs, die zeigen sind nicht zu süß und ich konnte die auch nach 8h noch zu mir nehmen (klappt mit Gel nicht immer).

Despues de 32 años practicando ciclismo empiezo ha estar saturado de barritas,y esta nueva opcion es un soplo se aire fresco en este tema,muy digeribles al no ser tan secas como las barritas ,sabor logrado nada empalagoso y 45 g de hidratos por bolsita, combinado con geles sera mi gasolina para las etapas este verano,estaria muy bien que se animaran a sacar sabores refrescantes: menta,lima limon,piña....por pedir que no quede.

La.mejor sin duda. Es buenísima...se come genial con buen sabor, no se pega a los dientes y se traga genial...el aporte de hidratos es el correcto.
