    Easy to use first crome one we tried others been widows or mac but annoying cannot update them anymore so thought we try crome. Only strange thing is in crome you cannot have icons on home screen but ok once you get use to

    Successfully replaced ChromeOS with Linux (debian 12), guided by the chrultrabook website. (Doing this voids the warranty and there is a risk of bricking the device.) The board name is MAGNETO, with the write-protect jumper needing a solder bridge near the corner of the main board closest to the centre of the machine.

    Amazing chromebook, converts to a tablet when needed. Nice feeling keyboard, trackpad is very precise. Screen is clear and touch function is excellent. I think this is brilliant value as well. It is also very light, under a kilo I think. Feels sturdy and the hinge is first class, very happy.

    The outer box was damaged and had a sticker over a hole where there had been a sharp blow to it. The keyboard is distorted but I managed to click it back down. The lid of the Chromebook doesn’t quite shut down. It works but is damaged so I am not happy. As the outside box had been repaired someone knew about the damage. I didn’t return it as I needed to use it immediately and couldn’t cope with the hassle involved. I feel very let down though as I haven’t got what I paid for.
