    Seems to work as intended, but how can I tell otherwise? Maybe the solution is to buy two different types and compare, but I feel that's a little crazy.Anyway, bought to monitor my pulse, the blood oxygen reading is meaningless to me. Gives the data quickly and clearly. Takes 2 AAA batteries, which I feel is overkill for such a simple device, but whatever. It's very lightweight and feels delicate. It comes with a lanyard, which I recommend attaching. If you drop this thing it's definitely going to break.So to sum up, a good and inexpensive pulse monitor. Get it on sale.

    Wife terminally ill and on oxygen. Perfect little tool for home use. Doctor visited at home and her equipment validated this one (checked readings after doc had left to compare with hers) heart rate monitor also accurate.

    Got so frustrated with this, really got me worried at times with the readings until I realised it was inaccurate most of the time. Waste of money

    This is a very good item reading reading close and in some cases reads the same as the dr's/nurses, and the times it hasn't it was only a single digit out, it is very good value consider how much we would pay for one like the Dr uses.

    Worked great at start but after a month it came apart and now its not reading accurately often and for the past week it sometimes doesn't want to turn on even after changing batteries couple times.Update: seller contacted me and gave a full refund
