The kit contains instructions and a receptacle for your spit and some liquid to mix with it. After registering online, you can repackage the bottle and send it off for analysis. The member of my family volunteered for the treatment had a little trouble dribbling into the bottle, but it's all quite straightforward if you follow the instructions. It took a few weeks to receive confirmation of receipt of the sample, and a couple of weeks more for the results to come online. Nothing is sent through the post, so you need to be online to use this pack.The results are in three main categories: Traits, Wellness and Ancestry.Traits include such items as Alcohol Addiction, Birthweight, Earlobe Type, Longevity and Tooth Morphology, to pick a few at random. Each heading can be expanded to provide a lot of background information (not personalised), advice on prevention and a technical report for you own sample. A pdf can be downloaded. The website works faultlessly.Wellness is subdivided into Nutrition and Sports Performance, with a similar large number of headings that can be researched with background information and technical reports.Ancestry shows your geographical lineage expressed percentages from the regions of the world. You can drill down to pinpoint the location and racial origins, and there is a zoomable interactive map to illustrate the results. There is also a tab for Maternal Lineage based on Mitochondrial DNA. This indicates your Haplogroup, with a generic explanation of migration going back to our common origins in Africa.There is a lot of information here, some of it quite technical. I imagine people will buy this service for a variety of reasons. This is the basic starter kit, but it seems to be good value for the information provided. We certainly found it to be enlightening.

Took a bit of time to get the results through, but having spoken to the team, we had a really good outcome.. they were super attentive, want to give great customer service... and do.The results themselves are incredibly comprehensive... loads of info..Seems worth it!!

The customer service for Tellmegen is 5* and I would highly recommend them. I bought these for my family as a Christmas present and everyone was very appreciative. Many presents only get used once then thrown out, this is something that can be used for a lifetime & give an insight into health.

This is a starter pack, so you don't get everything which you would get for the advanced kit. The pack is quite self explantory, but does contain instructions which are useful to read over. You need to register the kit before you send it off, but it comes with everything you need to do your sample and once you've done pop it in the prepaid envelope to send it off. I've yet to hear anything back yet, so this isn't something where you get an answer fairly quickly, but I will update once I received my results. Simple and easy to use, but I've reserve judgement on the results for when I get them!

This DNA test starter is very easy to use with sent instruction. I haven't done it yet but looks like very good quality product. Will show you everything you want to know about yourself. This DNA test is regularly updated and is free of charge. With this information you can modify your life habits to improve your well-being.Very reasonable price only 75.00 at the moment.Very useful when it comes to results.Recommend.

Ottimo acquisto, veloci
In circa 5 settimane mi è arrivata la risposta del test, semplicissimo da fare, istruzioni accurate. Lettura dei risultati facilissima se si seleziona la lingua italiana nella prima pag del sito. Io ho fatto il test x vedere da dive venivano i miei antenati, ma senza volerlo ora so tutte le variazioni dei miei genitori, variazioni che provocano infertilità, anemia, problemi cardiovascolari futuri. Altro pro è che ora so che cibi evitare visto che mi dicono anche i livelli delle varie vitamine presenti nel mio corpo. Ora so che sono intollerante al lattosio o che sono tendente a bassi livelli di autostima e alti livelli di depressione. Tutto scritto nel DNA!!!

Ich war wirklich positiv überrascht, dass das Problem, das wir mit dem Service und der Verzögerung hatten, vom CEO persönlich gelöst wurde. Alle Fragen wurden schnell geklärt und beantwortet. Ich bin jetzt sehr zufrieden.
Decent value for price
Gives you a decent amount of periodically updated info for its price, and little in the way of hidden additional fees. Just a pity not particularly practical to export your raw data for additional analysis by 3rd parties.
Trustworthy in origin analysis
The origin analysis is trustworthy. I'm a mix of 34% & 64% that’s correct. The instruction in English is easy to follow and questions are promptly addressed by their customer center.. One thing I should have noted was there was a bit short explanation for the procedure in Japanese. I switched to English and then everything went smoothly. If you prefer Japanese, it might be a bit short part.
