I bought the K585 (on sale £31) because my TKL wasn't as comfortable to play on. As a new PC gamer I was looking for a peripheral that wasn't controller but but more compact than a standard keyboard. Enter the K585. It isn't perfect, but very good at what it does, here are my pros and cons:Pros:- Very customisable - I can change almost any key to be what I want. I had some left over key caps from TKL and decided to use them on this.- Easy to use - it is essentially plug and play, you can get it to work very quickly. The RGB takes a little longer to set up properly but reading after reading the manual it worked.- Aesthetics - It is actually a very cool looking product and it looks good next to my TKL.- Software - It isn't perfect, but it is not hard to use.- USB Passthrough - This is very handy, I plug in my mic into it and it does t he trick.Cons- Bulky - it is actually a little bigger than I expected (TWSS), but if you have big hands it's fine. I can still reach all the buttons pretty comfortably but for smaller hands you might have a harder time.LEDs - they are pretty weak ngl. Next to my Drevo TKL they leave a lot to be desired, I like the lighting modes but they are not as bright. You can probably see the difference in the pic.- The space bar - So I have sort of covered this in the bulky con but wanted to elaborate. At first when trying it out I thought it was fine, but then noticed that my thumb would have to stretch to reach it an dit was just a little unnatural feeling. Fortunately due to the ability to change any key to another, I have made the P key the new space bar (not shown in the pic above but I have even changed the key cap to reflect this)All in all, it is a very good inexpensive piece of kit. I find it comfortable once I had customised it to my liking and it looks great albeit the weak rgb features and birghtness.

5.0 out of 5 stars It does what I need it to do, but not what it's supposed to do. (Edit: It works!)

Updating my review as of June 2020 with a fresh Windows 10 installation. My issues may have been my own fault!June 2020:Alright so after some back and forth with the customer service rep (wild how these people actually care about their customers, I wasn't expecting it at all), I gave as much feedback and potential software clashing issues that I could find with this product. After an upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and 6 months down the line, the thing works as advertised.Download the software from the Redragon website, update the firmware as instructed with the updater that comes in the .zip folder, install the software and boom. You're good to go. Every profile works independently, all of the light settings work fine, even the macro record function works! Was I a little disappointed when I first got it? Yes.Am I disappointed any more? No.There might still be an issue of software clashing if you're trying to run a Logitech Mouse, a Fnatic Keyboard and a Redragon keypad all at the same time like I am, but I guess that's to be expected of having so many things fighting for peripheral control. So.Pros:- Macro record function- EVERY KEY IS PROGRAMMABLE. Hoo boy. This was the one big thing that I wanted from a keypad. Not half a keyboard, but a set of buttons that I could press to do whatever was needed. And IT FINALLY WORKS.- Light effects are nice with options to change colours and patterns with a few fun presets.- SO MANY BUTTONS. This is why I didn't go with a Razer Orbweaver or Tartarus. Is 24 buttons enough? For you maybe. But not for me. The more buttons the better. That's why I used to have a G502s with 18 macro keys and a G602 with 6 thumb buttons and programmable buttons on top of the mouse too. You can never have enough buttons.- Easy to set up and use.- Nice placement of the G keys and the space bar button.Cons:- Still quite chunky for what it is. The keys are slightly bigger than your average keyboard so there is some stretching involved to get to everything that you want to use, but who cares? Just remap the things you need closer to the centre of your hand :^)- Wrist rest is just plastic. Is it terrible? No. Does it feel cheap? A little. Would I like a soft padding on it? Yes.- Random map key instead of F6 (but now I can reprogram that to be F6 so is this even really a con?)So there you have it. For £50 I don't think you're going to find anything else out there that does what this thing does. I don't know whether it was the fact that I updated to Windows 10 and got rid of all the bugs in my PC or if they did some jiggery pokery with the software to make it functional but either way, I'm happy.January 2020:Pros: Has all of the keys I need for my left hand plus additional macro buttons and F1-F5 keys which a lot of keypads on the market do not include.Switches feel responsive and have solid actuation on them. Its surprisingly comfortable with the wrist rest even though it's plastic.Cons: The keys are a little chunkier than I was expecting so the whole thing is bigger than I really wanted. Reaching all of the keys is... Iffy and I think I have a pretty decent handspan.Random Map key instead of F6?The software is absolute garbage and the macro record function doesn't work. Even with the firmware update and the additional other software that I installed. Only one profile works and you can only assign either macro strings or single-button presses to the Macro keys. Also updating the firmware killed my ability to customise the lights but at least it doesn't reset all of my keybinds anymore. All in all it does what I need it to so I'm happy enough but it doesn't do everything that it is supposed to. I would take a moment to consider if you need all of the features that are promised and if you have big hands and then consider spending more money for a better product. But if you are looking for absolute budget that feels nice and does a fancy RGB slow fade across the keys and don't care much about macros beyond single buttons then absolutely do go for this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great little keyboard, magnetic hand wrest is just irritating

    H.H. · 4 April 2024

The keyboard itself is great, responsive, lots of keys and easy to set up.The magnetic wrist rest though is just frustrating, there is very little space on the keyboard part to pick it up by without pressing a key, and trying to pick it up from the rest just results in it falling off. Its just ended up on the floor yet again because of this and Im going to have the glue the 2 parts together to stop it happening again. Its probably not an issue when its set on a desk 24/7 but I cant use a desk, I use a recliner chair with this on the arm wrest, so I have to pick it up and move it off and on multiple times a day and having it falling appart every time is just not funtional. Magnets are just not strong enough to cope with something like this. Im not even sure on the point of it, its not like it came with a selection of options to use.

Feels good, looks good, also became my introduction to modding keycaps!

The media could not be loaded. I picked this thing up early on during COVID, but only recently got a full-sized gaming/work desk at home. Since then, I have put over +200 hours onto this gamepad playing CSGO as well as other FPS titles at home during my free time. This gamepad has always felt comfortable during that time, even the plastic wrist rest has grown on me.I was afraid it would hurt after awhile, but it has actually made me consider getting harder plastic or acrylic wrist rests for my keyboard and mouse as well. I would say I have medium sized hands (I am 6'2) so the spacing feels great on this keyboard. It is much more comfortable than the Logitech g13 gaming pad I had about a decade ago. That one did not have mechanical keys, and the spacing of the keys on it felt unnatural. This keyboard feels so much more natural due to its keyboard like layout and placement of additional buttons. The Keypad feels strong and sturdy, switches feel good, and the price point is amazing!Since I have begun to use it so much, I have begun personalizing it by adding a RGB USB cable and some white rubberized keycaps. I did this so I can have some additional tactile support to find the WASD and number keys, as well as to match my Redragon K673 PRO keyboard. I recommend this gaming keypad to anyone who plays FPS games. I would recommend combining it with a tenkeyless keyboard so that you will have a perfect amount of space for your gamepad, keyboard and mouse without having to spread your arms out too far.

Excelente, me agradou bastante.
