The clarity and sharpness as well as colour of my photos taken on Leica, iPhone 12 and Sony A7R3 are really very good and my interest was abit above family photos. There is good depth of picture too. Colours are like the camera photos and even my Leica B&W photos display nicely. The pickup by the Aura App is easy and transfer to the digital frame is seamless. The power cord is quite generous, albeit proprietary, and it comes (UK version) with 3 pin, 2 pin EU, and another 2 pin changeable plug which is good quality. The frame itself is quite wide and sits well at an angle on the table…sturdy. The Touch Bar works fine and the product switches itself off when the room light is low (you can tweak power settings too). Picture transfer from iPhones abroad as well as across localities are fine; stuff works. No SD card or Bluetooth - everything over wifi and painless to reconfigure to a different router if you move it.Cons? : price ! Expensive certainly and I would have liked a slightly bigger frame for this Mason Luxe…it just feels an inch or two too small for me. It is quite adequate as a tabletop display but when you see its quality, you feel it should be a bit larger! Ie it is smaller than my 11” ipad screen… The Walden will be my next purchase when it becomes available in UK/EU.

This product is outstanding. We bought it for my mum for Christmas but had to wait to give it to her because of lockdown in the UK.We finally got it to her, and setup was such a breeze! My mum is older but tech aware, and was worried for me that setup would be the usual pain. Far from it! The app on my phone accessed mums Wi-fi credentials that I already had, and copied them to the frame. From there, we already set the frame up as a gift so it already had an image on it. It was a pity that the message that you write as part of gift setup never comes up on the screen of the frame so I had to show mum the app on my phone where the message came up, which is dumb. But it’s really trivial compared to how great the frame actually is!I was able to then share the app with my wife and my sister and altogether we are able to view what’s currently on the frame, add photos individually, add whole albums to the frame, change what mum can see remotely, even change the frame settings for her remotely. It is so slick and simple and works extremely well.My mum at her end then gets to see a show of all the photos of us and her grandchildren, without having to lift a finger to make the technology work. It is such a great product. I highly recommend this frame and app, you will not be disappointed.

I was reading lots of reviews before settling on this frame.It’s at the premium end of the market for digital picture frames but I would recommend it. The picture quality is amazing, the photos really stand out with fantastic colour.The motion sensor is good with the display only coming on when people are in the room and so it goes off at night etc.The app is easy to use and upload photos.You can add directly from Google photos on the app also which is helpful.You can alter various settings such as display time per picture. The photos are not stored directly stored on the device.The frame is solidly made and I would buy it again.

We purchased two Aura frames as Christmas gifts for grandparents. The frames are beautiful with a really simple interface. Unfortunately one of the frames developed a fault that required us to return it. After initially going through Bolo with little success and then being routed to Aura US we were lucky enough to be put into contact with Dorian who represents Aura in the UK. From the minute Dorian got in touch he owned the issue and co-ordinated an upgraded replacement, even chasing up a late delivery that was totally out of his control. We received an exceptional customer experience and it’s resulted in us making another Aura purchase, this time directly with Aura. If all UK Aura employees are to follow the customer service model that Dorian has demonstrated I have no doubt the UK operation will go from strength to strength! Thanks very much from a very satisfied customer!

Bought for my daughter birthday the whole family can put picturesand videos on by the app on the phone . Thought it was little expensive but now think it's. Worth the money.

Very easy to use via the downloaded app. Simply tether to your wi-fi and add your pictures. There is the possibility to adjust pictures already taken to suit the frame and it doesn’t spoil the original picture. We have it scrolling through the pictures allocated to it and it proves to be a real talking point if we have visitors.
Pretty good digital photo frame with easy-to-use software and phenomenal customer support
I've had this frame for a little over a year and it randomly stopped working one night and wouldn't turn on again the next morning sometime between our scheduled off/on hours (a feature the software offers). Since it had been 13 months since I purchased it and the warranty is listed as 12 months, I figured that was just the way things go for me and reached out to support to ask if they accept frames for diagnostics and repair and what their rates for such are and much to my chagrin they just offered to replace it outright, because, and I quote from their email; "We apologize for the inconvenience; we want to make sure you have the best possible experience with your Aura frame!"This is why I love the smaller, more labor-of-love type companies. The companies that sit in the comfortable spot between so-small-they-fold and too-big-to-care. They value their customers!The product itself is pretty good, resolution is reasonable and the app and software itself is easy to use. I purchased this frame after one of our cats passed away last year; I couldn't decide which pictures of his to print out, so I took a shot on a digital frame so we could display a selection of his photos while we were grieving. It was super easy to hook up my Apple Photo albums to automatically import into the frame. Now that iOS 17 and MacOS Sonoma have pet face detection, it's been a breeze getting the frame to display every single photo we've ever taken of our dearly departed furbabies without having to manually find them in all our pictures.For pictures that aren't the right aspect ratio, some photos do have to be manually aligned for display via the app, but it's pretty easy to do and it doesn't modify your photos; you can also elect to use black or the extended-and-blurred letterboxing on the sides or top/bottom depending on if you use the frame in portrait or landscape mode, or you can zoom to prevent that altogether. It also plays videos, and while they disclaimed the ability to auto-import videos from iOS albums, my experience was that they showed up anyways.As an added bonus, there's a kind of private social-networking type aspect to the app; you can add anyone you want to your frame so they can add pictures to it, and you can heart and comment on the photos in the app. So it's probably great for families or friends who are either separated by distance or just love sharing photos with their loved ones (I'm one of those weird types who really only displays photos of pets, and until i teach them to use the phone it's going to be just me using the frame)Highly recommend this company and their products! Will submit a photo of it in action once the replacement arrives!

Fantastic digital frame - makes me smile many times a day
I bought this frame after reading a great review on the NYT Wirecutter site and it is truly wonderful. It is easy to use, attractive, has a high quality display and makes me smile many times a day as I see photos of my children and extended family.Customer Service is also excellent. The first frame I purchased had a bug and shut down often. Customer Service suggested some fixes and when those didn't work, said I should return it. Customer Service then uploaded my photos from the original frame to the new one quickly and perfectly.It's such a treat to see photos that would otherwise sit on my phone and not be seen.

Underwhelming, considering the price
I was expecting more from such an expensive product. From the start I thought a simple digital screen should not cost that much these days. I decided to give it a try anyway, assuming that the high price would be justified. But so far, it has been an underwhelming experience.First of all, the setup as a gift did not work. I set everything up in the app and it looked like it was ready, but when my wife unpacked it, it did not connect to the WiFi automatically, nor did the welcome message show up.Secondly, it just seems very clunky. The frame is heavy and thick. In the age of super thin and lightweight displays, it looks outdated. I’m sure I could find a used tablet for a similar price to do the same job.The picture quality seemed fine, no better or worse than a phone or tablet screen.This would all be fine if the frame was around 70€, but with the high price tag it’s rather disappointing.
