    I bought it for my car, I filled a glass of water to try it, I waited exactly 45 minutes for the water to boil, it's too bad

    In my particular car, I find that this cup fits better without the bottom part which can be unscrewed, ending up with a handy size cup.

    Great Concept But Mine Did Not Heat Up Much

    This 12V Car Heating Cup, Stainless Steel Heating Coffee Heated Thermos Mug is well made with a smooth double walled stainless steel body, plastic lid and a separate screw-on base which acts as an extra water holder or a small secondary cup- to share I guess. I like the idea of having my coffee stay warm in the car, which this will do if you start with hot coffee. If you try to heat room temperature water, however, the heat is weak- or at least my cup charger was weak. I tried heating plain water at the ambient temp (about 65F degrees) for 15 minutes on my ride to an errand, and I got to around bathtub-ish water, where I could stick my finger in with no problem for a very long time. My cup did not seem to heat my water more than that, and at a temperature lower than I want to drink my coffee at.This device came with a car charger plug, but no home use plug, so I actually used a similar home plug I had for different small water cup heater appliance I already had ( I know you should not do this, but I went there), and the difference was stark- the cup heated the water to boiling quickly. I'm thinking that the makers of this Car Heating Cup did not want you to kill yourself with boiling water while driving, so had to make sure it never got too hot (understandably). However, the temp control limits how I would actually use this, so.... I'm not sure I'd recommend this product as is.

    The media could not be loaded. This heated mug is a great idea and should have been very useful, but unfortunately, the valve on the lid is loose and doesn't stay in place. Coffee spills when this valve is closed, or it closes by itself when I try to take a sip. If the manufacturer fixes this issue, the mug will be excellent. It consists of two parts, a base that can be used as an extra cup, as the coffee heats up very well and quite quickly.
