NOTE: BEFORE PUTTING THE CUP INTO THE BACKPACK, YOU NEED TO UNPLUG THE POWER CORD AFTER THE WATER BOILS, AND THEN PLUG THE SILICONE PLUG AFTER STANDING FOR TWO MINUTES. After tightening the lid, it can be put into the suitcase, which is well sealed and will not leak water.

I wanted this for a trip to France and wanted a small gadget that incorporated a kettle and a cup and wouldnโt take up much space in my small suitcase. Just tried it out at home and itโs very good. Boiled 350ml in 5 minutes, instructions easy to follow, quiet, and looks neat. You have to remember to un plug the air vent on the top when using, and be careful when it boils as there was some spitting of hot water through the vent.Even better than I was expecting it to be.

I purchased the 500ml kettle /cup for hotel stays. It's pretty light weight and will take hardly any room up in a regular hold suitcase. I'm glad I purchased the 500ml as its large enough to boil 2 cups (not mugs) of hot water. It takes around 3 to 4 minutes to boil and noise while boiling is minimal. I love the green colour.Make sure you clean the inside first as there is black stainless steal residue. A good buy around.

We bought this portable kettle for a long trip with our toddler who still drinks formula milk. It would be more hygienic than using hotel kettles, who knows when it was last cleaned (if ever). It's compact and 1 full kettle (about 300ml) is more than enough to make up a bottle.We didn't expect to use it for us grown-ups as well. We trust this little kettle to be hygienic to boil water for our teas and coffees. There's no leakage, and the outer casing doesn't get hot. Just remember to open the flap on the lid before you boil the water so the steam can get out.This turned out to be our best purchase for our holiday. We will be using this kettle again for future holidays, even when our toddler grows out of drinking formula milk.

This is a great little kettle. Shaped like a thermos it is very easy to pack & boils quickly. I bought a euro 2 pin plug cable from Bolo to use when abroad to avoid using adaptors. I dropped one star on the rating just because it is a little precarious when full of hot water, & you have to remember to open the vent at the top before setting it off to heat. But I would definitely buy this again & it will be packed for all future trips

I went to Spain knowing there were no drink facilities in the room so after reading other reviews I purchased this product.i wasnโt sure whether I could put it in my hand luggage but I had no problem with this . Used it everyday for my tea and coffee .Only thing to be careful of for safety is unplug it after use and be careful the strap doesnโt dangle over the top when open so just hold it on the side of the kettle .Canโt believe no one thought of this before as also used it to make porridge and cuppa soups as the use is endless and itโs well worth purchasing .

I got this yesterday. According to other reviews you can used to make hot the milk . I bought this to make warm the milk for my child who is autistic and needs a bottle of milk every morning and night. First time I try at home and the milk was warm at 5 min . But see the bottom was burning, i was thinking is this suitable to let my child drink???And is was not easy to clean because of the shape.I will not recommend it to anyone lol . Just in case you burn your house down ????

The reviews donโt give the full picture. The beaker switches off once boiled. It will reheat if left in and it cools. But reviews say this is a problem? Itโs not a problem if you unplug it once itโs boiled. Why would you leave plugged in after you have heated it ?You certainly wouldnโt be drinking from it still plugged in!So those reviewers who suggest this is a problem I suggest they are trying to pick holes or just plain thick.I only boil water and then make my cup of tea (or coffee) in another cup. So Iโm using as a small portable kettle but I could use as a flask. So I sing make drinks in it and thus I donโt have any problems cleaning. But those who use to make the drink in it then may be there could be a cleaning problem. A normal brush should work and if done every time itโs used.So whilst I give 5 stars as I use as compact travel kettle but others may not as they donโt understand the concept or make their drink in it.But as a travel kettle and occasional cold water beaker it canโt be faulted!

I purchased this item as a perfect option to take away on a trip where the hotel doesnโt have a kettle in the room as it doubles up as a kettle and cupThe first time I used it the item worked flawlessly, unfortunately every use after that it wouldnโt automatically switch off once it had finished boiling, so would continue to boil resulting in the water spilling out everywhere.The only way you could use it safely would be to ensure youโre next to it as it comes to a boil so you can quickly turn it off at the mains to prevent it from over boiling.If they could fix that very Important issue it would be a fantastic item, but for now Iโll revert back to taking a standalone travel kettle & separate mug on future trips
