5.0 out of 5 stars A mirror with style!
Last year, for my daughter's sweet 16, I was on the hunt for a compact mirror. Not just any mirror, mind you, but one that could withstand the trials and tribulations of a teenager's handbag. After she'd broken her umpteenth mirror, I stumbled upon LUNA London. And let me tell you, it was like finding the Holy Grail of mirrors.Fast forward to this year, and I faced the age-old dilemma: what to get for the woman who has everything, including a dresser table mirror? My dear mum. She's got this old-school, stainless steel mirror that probably came free with a 'book of dreams' or something. It's functional, sure, but it's as exciting as watching paint dry.Enter the Orbit. At a cool £90, it's not your average mirror. But then again, my mum's not your average lady. This thing is the Rolls Royce of mirrors! Sleek, stylish, and with lighting modes that would make a Broadway dressing room jealous. And the magnetic zoom-in mode? Chef's kiss! When mum unwrapped it, her face was a picture. At first, she had that "What on earth is this?" look. But once she set it up on its magnetic stand, her face lit up brighter than the Orbit's LED lights. It was a sight to behold! So, in conclusion, yes, it's a mirror. Yes, it's pricier than your bog-standard one. But the quality? Unbeatable. The style? Unparalleled. And the joy on my mum's face? Absolutely priceless. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get another one before my daughter decides to "borrow" her gran's. Because with a mirror this good, who could blame her? 😉🔍✨

5.0 out of 5 stars Aesthetically beautiful
I had wanted one of these mirrors the first time I saw it and decided to purchase. It came beautifully boxed , it’s very substantial and very well designed. It works beautifully and the battery life is decent before it needs charging. No issues with it rotating as it’s got a powerful magnet and the lighting is excellent. Super pleased!
1.0 out of 5 stars i've bought two of these - they stop working (1 after 2 weeks, 1 after 2 months)
Firstly, I was very excited about buying this as it looked stylish and was USB C based so fits in my home like everything else… and it didn’t disappoint when I got it - worked fine , 3 display colours, smart sturdy design …. first two weeks it worked beautifully , then the problem started. It just won’t stay on. Even when fully charged and I’ve got plenty of USB C chargers from Apple MacBook to Toothbrush… I’ve tried all, with direct source from the wall socket… seems to charge fine but it just switches off after less than 1 second of the press to come on. Deeply disappointed.Bought a 2nd one because i thought you know sometimes its not the product, give the build quality a chance.. did so, second has lasted 2 months and done exactly the same. Wont charge, dies immediately when charged. And i cant return it as the return window is closed. Rubbish.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best mirror ever - ignore the magnifier
This is by far the best makeup mirror I’ve had. It’s so bright but not enough to make your eyes hurt. What really impressed me however was the mirror itself. I’ve had tons of makeup mirrors in the past and never understood what people meant about “good quality mirrors”. This made me understand. It’s SO clear, almost like looking at yourself in an HD camera. The build quality is well worth the money, with an incredibly sturdy metal base and total freedom of angles because of the ball joint.Beware of the magnifying attachment mirror, though. It doesn’t stay on. This doesn’t matter to me as I don’t use it but if this is an essential for you then I’d reconsider it.
4.0 out of 5 stars Attractive and heavy
Really attractive and heavy mirror that looks great on our dressing table. It gives off a good light, so is really effective. Four stars.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Mirror
I have been trying to find a mirror for a long time & am so glad I brought this one. It is perfect & a beautiful looking mirror in the black.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good mirror but way to over priced!
The mirror is of good quality and design. However, imo there is nothing which justifies its price of £119. Its just a "posh" small mirror with a light! Nothing more! If this was reduced by 50% then i'm sure it would fly off the shelves.
Well-made, sturdy, worth every cent.
This is a luxury product that is well-made, thoughtfully designed and packaged like an Apple product - a joy to open and set up. It includes a dust bag for the magnifying mirror and a suede-like cleansing cloth. It’s heavy. Setup was a breeze - no sticking in screwing in the base, and the magnetic fittings that enable multiple positions snapped together cleanly. I’m thrilled with it. I got the black mirror, and it is elegant.
Buen producto
La caja llegó un poco rota pero el producto impecable. Se ve de calidad.
This is the one!!
I am a vanity girlie and had the same Brookstone light up mirror for many years until the light started to dim and be unable to reach full brightness. I couldn't find the same model and similar ones were at least $200. I was willing to pay that if needed, but first I did a lot of research online to find a replacement which: plugged into the wall so therefore doesn't require me to constantly replace batteries, has adjustable angle, medium size (not the huge full vanity mirrors but one that can be moved around on a desk space as needed), lights up brightly, and has a magnified mirror. This one fulfills all of those requirements and I love doing my makeup with it - it is like a bright, longer iPad and has the magnetic magnified mirror that I can take on or off easily. The mirror is placed on a swivel so you can adjust it any way you want, and it also has 3 different lighting settings. Trust me it took a while for me to settle on this one, so if you are looking for a product of those specifications this is the one. I am hopeful that it will hold up over time since my last one I had for over 7 years.
Breaks almost instantly.
As others have noted, the light on this mirror dies within a month or so. If you press the button to turn it on it comes on for a split second and then goes off.Sadly, the company hasn’t responded to my request for a replacement or I would have given it another try. It’s nice looking but for the price it should really be tested for half-decent longevity.
It broke after a couple of times using it :(
I wanted to love this, it looks so cool. But the magnet element to attach the mirror to base was apparently not as strong as I'd thought- mirror fell off and broke after a couple of uses. But a few other thoughts...I love the 10x magnification mirror and size. Problem, however, is that it has no light around it, so regardless of where on big light it was situated, it was never bright enough.I'll try a different lighted magnifying mirror to replace it, not worth the super high price in my opinion.
