5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, easy to use, quality item
Simple and easy to use speaker that delivers lovely mellow base sound. About the size of a beefburger so very portable. The battery charges really quickly and then lasts all day and a bit more. Connects real quick to your devices. Has 3 large control buttons on top, + or - volume & pause; this makes it an ideal companion when working in the office as you quickly turn volume up or down. I didn't realise when buying it that it also acts as a speaker if you have a call coming in on your mobile phone! You can instantly toggle that off if required through your phones call answering screen. In summary, this well exceeds my expectations, especially when considering the relatively low cost.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great little speaker!
At this price point and size this speaker is great. The battery lasts a few days, using it around 6-10 hours a day, I generally charge it whilst still using it so not sure how long it takes to charge but seems pretty quick. It connects very quickly to my phone , it has good sound quality and very good volume. Overall it seems robust and I’ve taken it abroad travelling, great for having but the pool, I use it daily at work now and the strap is very handy to attach it to table legs, bags etc
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!
This was a present for my daughter, and we’ve had it just over a year now. It’s excellent, sturdy and robust, great sound quality and holds charge really well. Also stays Bluetooth liked really well. An excellent, reliable speaker.
4.0 out of 5 stars Can a small speaker ever really sound good?
It's always the difficulty, isn't it? How great is 'great', when you're talking about a speaker that's barely 3" square, including all the electronics and battery. How could it possibly compare to one that's twice, or ten time's it's size/cost? You have to accept that what someone describes as "awesome, amazing sound" may well be someone else's "it's ok" - it depends on your personal preferences and previous experiences. If you're reading this then like me, you've probably been hunting for the "perfect" travel speaker - the one that doesn't cost hundreds of pounds, but that offers a decent and acceptable quality of sound, at a decent volume level. I've tried several over the years - even going as far as spending a fortune on the Sonos Roam speakers (they got sent back - sounded 'ok', but could NOT justify the cost). Not having heard of Tribit before, I was pointed towards them by a review of travel speakers somewhere online. This speaker came highly rated in their portable/travel section, so I thought I'd give it a try. There are lots of positives to report - it's a very well-built, solid, sturdy device. It feels like it could happily survive a good few knocks, and has a short rubber strap thing that wraps around the back of the device that can be used to attach it, say, to the strap of a bag/rucksack, a belt, or to a branch of a tree. It comes with a very useful and easy to use app that can be used to tweak EQ settings quite dramatically, as well as update the device etc. The controls are simple and easy - pairing is quick, and battery life seems impressive. And the negatives? Well, there aren't really any to report, other than this is a small speaker and you have to accept the limitations of such a dinky device. Don't get me wrong - the sound is punchy, it's loud, there is definitely some bass there (compared to other similar sized speakers), but will your drink be bouncing it's way along the tabletop due to the thumping bass this thing pushes out? No, of course not.I'm impressed with the speaker and will be keeping it. I might even buy a second one to link as a stereo pair. But don't buy this thinking you'll be able to replicate you Sonos home sound system whilst on holiday, because you won't. What you will be able to do is take some decent sounding music with you, pretty much wherever you go.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing sound
The media could not be loaded. This speakers are great for the price. Actually, they are Bolo for the price. Great sound, Bolo base and treble details from the speaker. It’s lightweight, waterproof and clan be clipped hanged on anything using the strap and you’re ready to go. Battery life seems great as after a few hours of use, still showing as full. The app is very easy to use. If you are looking for a palm size, portable, waterproof speaker with great sound. This is just what you are looking for.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great little gadget
What a great gadget, it's small enough to fit in my handbag, easy to set up and gives a great sound. Very pleased with it, would recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Full and pleasing sound
Bought these in January, since then the price has gone up by £12. We have four other wireless speakers in the family, JBL, Sony, UE and Anker. These are the best, they pack hell of a punch for a small speaker. Although sonicaly not perfect like the other speakers we have, they produce the most pleasing and full sound. I think the price was artificially reduced in January to get some sales traction but I think still worth the price now.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great sounding, sturdy speaker
I didn't want to fork out over £100 for the more well known blu tooth speakers so gave this a shot and am happy I did so. It's a solid little speaker, with great sound quality (especially the bass, which is far clearer than you'd expect from something this size and shape), and it can be very loud without distortion. Also, fully charged it lasts for a good number of hours. For the price you won't get better.
Surpreendentemente bom!
Recomendo.
Sounds great!
Mounted on my fat bike... the silicone/rubber strap applies just the right amount of pressure on the handle bars to stay in place. On bumpier roads it will shift down a bit. No biggee... at least if I wipe out the mount won't break (like the ●●● speaker will). It sounds great, and the controls are easy to use even with gloves on. Recommend! Edit: I just ordered another one for the other side of the handlebars. Didn't 'need' to, just more for aesthetics than anything. Great price so why not!
WOW! Great improvements on an already great speaker!
The Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 has been greatly improved over the prior version and this is a class leader for small, portable, rugged, TWS speakers. Tribit has improved the sound clarity, soundscape, power in both volume and battery playtime, and better connection with BT 5.3. This newer version can even charge other electronic devices using it's USB port. The original Tribit Stormbox Micro was better than the Bose Soundlink Micro due to better base output, battery life and ruggedness at half the price of the Bose. If you bought the Bose, you wasted your money on a name and that's it.With the newer Tribit Stormbox Micro 2, the sound over the original is much clearer and louder due to an extra watt (10 versus 9 or 20 versus 18 if you have two paired as TWS which really showcases these micro speakers' performance.) The best way to describe the difference of the newer Micro 2 over the original is that the original Micro sounds a tad muffled on the high end. There is a noticeable crisper clarity with the Micro 2. The bass is also louder without being muddier. When playing them against each other (two TWS paired Micros vs two TWS paired Micro 2s,) its hard to believe the two pairs of speakers are not just from the same company, but from the same family (compared to Tribit's other offerings.) The improved sound is noticeable at most volumes, but more so when volume is at 40% on up.)The newer Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 speakers also work with Tribit’s app allowing you to customize the EQ setting. This definitely helps make the speakers shine even more and again, these speakers are a top notch improvement over the former model and the competitors just right out of the box. EQ adjustment is icing on the cake. If your budget can afford it, get two of the Micro 2 speakers. The Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 once paired remember each other and announce which is the left and which is the right channel speaker (it remains constant between them.) The TWS pairing process is a superior improvement over the prior model and listening to TWS with proper placement is so much more pleasurable than headphones or earbuds. Now add the additional performance of 12 hours of playtime vs. 8 of the original, better BT connection, and the charging function for relatively the same price and size (the Micro 2s are just a few MM thicker) and Tribit have hit a grand slam on this updated model. They did the same for their original GO speakers as well! Tribit is the best budget friendly speaker and headphone provider on the market. Well done Tribit! Well done!!!
