DioraHydrate Active Hydration is a food supplement that is perfect for everyday hydration. Each hydration tablet contains some key electrolytes that your body needs – sodium, potassium, citrate, and chloride. DioraHydrate Active Hydration comes in a compact tube of 20 tablets. The electrolyte tablets are convenient to take with you on-the-go and easy to use whenever you need them. Dissolve 2 effervescent tablets in 200ml of fresh, cold water to create a blackcurrant flavoured hydrating drink. They are suitable for daily use – when you’re normally thirsty, after a hot day in the sun, when you are travelling and during or after exercising. They are also suitable for the entire family, including those who are lactose and gluten intolerant. The recommended daily dose for children aged 1 to 11 years of age is 4 tablets. Adults and children over the age of 11 may take 8 tablets a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. It is important to have a varied and balanced diet along with a healthy lifestyle. This product should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

The media could not be loaded. I frequently use the sachets from this brand at night to help stop water running straight through me. If I don't, I'm constantly on the toilet and feeling really thirsty. Into 200ml, these tablets dissolve surprisingly quickly. I set a stop watch and it took one minute and five seconds to dissolve. However, I often found a small amount left at the bottom that needed to be stirred. Kind of defeats the point of using tablets. As for taste, it was doable. Usually, I put blackcurrant squash with the sachets, but I tried these without and not having access to squash wouldn't be the end of the world for me. Some nights, the drinks work well and others, not so much, which is normal for me. They do keep me from spending the whole night on the toilet though, which I appreciate. I prefer to drink the electrolyte drink over an hour or so, if I can, as I find this works best.

Ordered these for a recent trek across Costa Rica. Easier to drink than some of the other electrolytes I have used. These are excellent electrolyte tablets for when you are feeling dehydrated and in need of something more than a glass of water to quench your thirst.The tablets dissolve very quickly into a glass of water and the resultant drink has a pleasant blackcurrant flavour that isn't too sweet or sickly. I particularly like how the tablets are very small and come in a compact tube which makes them ideal to pack in a bag or suitcase when on holiday, really useful especially if you are going on a holiday to a hot climate where having access to electrolytes and carbohydrates can help with dehydration.The drink isn't chalky in any way, unlike some other similar tablets and sachets I have tried in the past. I would certainly recommend these not only for taking on trips but actually having around the house: they have been particularly useful, for example, when I've come back from a particularly long or hot run just to help refresh myself.
