    Firstly this is a company that is run by a couple of busy Mums. Let’s be honest, we’re looking at stencils as a way of gaining a bit more control over all the stuff that is in our heads. The beauty of these stencils is that these Mums have done the thinking for you. It means that you can wholesale use the page layouts as they come (saving brain power and time) or you have the freedom, of course, to say, right, what do I need: a meal plan; diary for the week; exercise goals etc., and then use which stencils you want to create a layout that works for you. These were not the cheapest stencils that I looked at but when you see what arrives in the kit, plus the ebook and follow-up email from the Sunny Streak team, you’ll appreciate the work and care that has gone into these and how much easier they’ll make organising your life. I highly recommend these.

    Good little stencils to help get creative with layouts.You need to hand fill the spaces so it doesn’t look as clean as I would like, but I don’t have a steady hand, so my lines overlap or aren’t straight.

    Good variety of page layouts; fun and useful stickers

    I’ve recently gotten into bullet/junk journaling, and as a beginner, I tend to not know where to start. That’s why these page layout stencils are a life saver. There’s a nice variety of different page layouts, and there are nine sets of two page stencils (18 total). What’s nice about these stencils is that each page can be used on it’s own or with it’s matching page (i.e. 3a and 3b) for a full two-page spread. They can also be paired with different pages, such as 3a and 5a to make a two-page spread, or you can choose to use only certain design elements from each stencil sheet to make your own design layout.These stencils are pretty sturdy and not very sheer/see-through, and they hold up well when using them to draw your page layouts. The stencil pages perfectly fit an A5 journal/pages, and can be used with pencils, pens, markers, what have you (I personally think sharp pencils/fine-tip pens work best for tracing the stencils). The stencil set also comes with a few pages of stickers, mainly featuring stickers used for planners (days of week, reminders, numbers, etc.) in a plethora of bright colors. These stickers have good adhesion and feature a transparent background.For the low price, this set is a great value for money, considering everything you get and how versatile it is! This would make a great gift to anyone who likes to journal or scrapbook, or to anyone experiencing artists block, and I would highly recommend it!

    What a useful set of stencils and fun stickers! I’m new to journaling, but I’m an avid list-maker. These stencils can be used in so many different ways, depending on your interests and what you are tracking or journaling about.I wasn’t sure where to start so I looked up the company’s Facebook page and Instagram account (@SunnyStreakShop). They have lots of ideas and examples of how people have used their stencils. It was helpful to see other people’s trackers and journals so I could generate my own designs using these stencils.This set includes 18 stencils. A large number of the stencils have variations of shapes or lines in blocks/units of 7, representing the days of the week for organizational purposes. This made planning for weekly activities or tasks easy to arrange.there are also lots of stencils that look like empty calendar shapes, ready to keep track of tasks or items for a particular month.In addition to the variety of stencils, they also include 14 pages of colorful stickers. I’m not really a sticker person, but if you like using stickers, this is a nice selection. There are multiple sheets of day-of-the-week stickers (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) in different fonts and colors, sets of numbers from 1 to 31, cute icons for tasks and decoration (for example, pizza, airplanes, weather status, and even palm trees). There are lots of fun stickers to liven up your journals or calendars.After using the stencils with a variety of permanent ink pens and markers I ended up with a lot of stray marks on the stencils. It was easy to wipe them clean with a Clorox wipe. The stencils are thick enough to be sturdy and will hold up under repeated use.If you are getting into journaling I think you’ll enjoy using this stencil set and if you like using stickers, you will likely get a kick out of all the stickers. I do think the product set is a little overpriced if you aren’t a big user of the stickers, but the stencil set is very handy.

    Fantastic quick layouts, enough variety for lots of creative variations

    I got these because trying to figure out what kind of layout structure I wanted to make each week and then measuring that design out every time was taking an hour or more. I journal to keep myself organized, but I can't bet on being able to block out three hours every week to create an individual new spread.Having these stencils makes it much faster; I spend maybe 5 minutes choosing the base layout structure, another 5-10 drawing lines with these templates (mostly in pen, except for areas where I want some decoration to overlap it--then the lines are in pencil there), and another half-hour to 45 minutes drawing decoration and adding color with either markers or some quick watercolor washes, then about 20 minutes filling in the week's schedule. So it's cut my planning time in half using these.I love that I can use any old blank sketchbook with these stencils, since they're the same size as the pages and I can just align on the edges, though I'm currently using a dot grid book. They're not super-heavy, as stencils go, but that also means they fit well in a standard half-letter size plastic 3-ring notebook pocket, and I can keep sheets of stickers and tabs in that mini binder as well. (Fineliners and washi and watercolor are kept out in my painting area because they're always being used to create new drawings and paintings; I just grab the mini binder and my planner and do my planning there.)

    There are 18 layouts here for pages 5.5 inches by 8.5 inches, half a standard sheet of American paper. Most of the layouts can be used A on the left and B on the right. The dominant use of weekly layouts with this set, but there are a few (4A and 5A) that have an ability to track a monthly layout. One of the things that caught me immediately: the cut outs are clean, there were no residuals left from the plastic cut off. They work with all sorts of pens, thick, or thin. I used 0.38 pen, but I did a page with 0.9 pencil to see if it would change the quality of layout, and it worked just the same.I appreciated the focus on seven layouts either across two pages or within contained in one half, this helps index the way I want to connect specific information.Included with this set is a series of 18 stickers. Pages of numbers, days of the week and month, activities to track, general icons, and general weather (sunny, cloudy, overcast, storm, rain, snow, umbrella, sunny, cloudy, or rain) The use of these stickers helps with the time it takes after setting up the pages that will be used.I look forward to using this set with my students to help them identify the systems that would be the most useful to them.
