Now this is a decent up grade on the classic 1980s game. It's durable, easy to use, portable and just great fun. Defo value for money just don't be too competitive against your loved ones!!

Bought for my 6 year old. He can manage the pegs easily, can read the board, and play well. Others we have tried are too small or fiddly. This one is great. Also holds together well when closed so can travel with it. He loves it and enjoys playing with adults of children. Worth getting this slightly bigger version for better playability I think.

A great classic game and we really enjoyed playing it. But the pegs keep falling out! So annoying. As I placed a peg in, others fell out, which meant we no longer had an accurate record of where opponents ships were and weren’t. I was super careful but still some fell out. Will try and work out a fix for the problem, maybe dip the tips in superglue to make them bigger. We angled the boards slightly to continue our game, but pegs still fell out, as they are barely in the holes even when pushed fully in. Next time we will place pegs in lower board and put ships on vertical board (although the ships will need the pegs enlarged too, but at least there are only 5 of them!).

My wife and i were going away for the weekend to relax and so we bought this and it brought some great childhood memories back playing this game. The game itself is sturdy and i like the way both trays click and then clip together. The only slight annoyance is that the pieces don't always stay in place, which can get a bit confusing especially if you have already called out the grid area and you didn't place it where it was in the first place. Apart from that it now travels with us where ever we go.Would recommend.
