Dulcolax Adult Pico Liquid 5mg/5ml Oral solution works overnight in 6-12 hours with your body to effectively relieve you from occasional constipation. If you take it at night, you should be able to go to the toilet in the morning, in the comfort of your own home. Dulcolax Adult Pico Liquid helps the bowel to return to regularity. It is recommended to use changes in diet first and if it is ineffective, bulk forming medicines should be started to control constipation before using stimulant laxatives (on a short-duration constipation). Ingredients: Dulcolax Adult Pico Liquid 5mg/5ml Oral solution, contains sodium picosulfate. Always read the label. Dulcolax Adult Pico Liquid 5mg/5ml Oral solution also contains: Sodium, Carboxymethylcellulose, Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Glycerol, Tutti Frutti Flavour, Saccharin Sodium, Ethanol 96 Percent , 0.1 M Sodium Hydroxide, Purified Water. Directions. Preparation: For oral administration. Adults Dosage: One to two 5 ml spoonfuls (5 - 10 mg) per day. Should not be used in children or adolescents under the age of 18 years. In the management of constipation, once regularity has restarted dosage should be reduced and can usually be stopped. Can be diluted with purified water. Please see the enclosed leaflet for further information.Safety Warning: Caution: if laxatives are needed for more than five days in a row, or if symptoms persist, in particular if you have persistent abdominal pain or are passing blood, consult your doctor. Laxatives come in so many shapes and forms that it’s difficult to work out what best to use. If you haven’t used any before, I would recommend that you take advice from a Pharmacist or Doctor before hand, if possible. You could also search the web for info.This is a fairly strong laxative that helps the muscles in the bowel to work more strongly. It’s not a good idea to use it regularly without your doctor’s advice.It is however, an exceptionally good laxative. It’s especially good for those who have had no luck with bulking or fibre enhancing laxatives and those taking medications that have a side effect of constipation.It works well within 12-24 hours. The liquid form has the added bonus of allowing the dose to be made smaller quite easily; which is especially helpful when trying it for the first time.I would definitely buy it again.

I've been suffering from constipation for a couple of weeks so I thought I'd try this product as normal herbal remedies had no effect.I took a couple of spoonfuls when the package arrived rather than before bedtime as suggested on the bottle.As there was no immediate effect I foolishly repeated the dosage before retiring for the night which was some seven hours later.Please don't follow my example, it takes a little time to work.I would have posted a photo but feel this would lead to a blanket ban from the internet.I now have urgent need of a decorator.
