    This is a great microscope for my needs (PCB inspection), additional lenses also add some fun time like diving into invisible world of small. I wish it would have a bit larger base for larger PCBs, and also an autofocus so that I won't have to adjust focus manually if I want to look at the board at an angle (and so the focal point will be higher). But for the price it's very good!

    This is an awesome scope. The only drawback is having to change lenses but that is the nature of this type of scope. I purchased it to use for watch repair, but then using a microscope brought me back to my college biology days which prompted me to buy a proper compound microscope.This scope has the little light stage so you can use slides but it's not the same as a compound scope. However it is AMAZING for large items and used as a stereo microscope. I view rocks, insects, plant parts, etc with this scope.The clarity and resolution is is very clear and bright. The adjustable lights are great. The software leaves a little to be desired and it takes some getting used to. Photos and video are a snap...no pun intended.I've found that the SD card needs to be reformatted every time I delete photos or videos from the card which is a nuisance. The card is also a trick to insert back into the slot. I use a rubber tipped tweezer. It's great that the SD card is included though. It also needs a rack and pinion adjustment for the course adjustment instead of the locking screw mechanism which is a bit cumbersome.Overall this scope is great. I recommend the 10" version.

    I was rather skeptical but I’m glad I decided to get it, the focal distance makes working on my watches a breeze. Way easier than trying to use a conventional microscope.

    Great help for my part time watchmaker hobby.
