5.0 out of 5 stars Favourite mouse release 2020

    S. · 5 March 2021

The Aerox 3 wireless is an incredible value for money buy, its not only one of the lightest wireless mice you can buy, it has one of the best shapes on the market and has battery to boot. The advertised battery life of 200 hours is in Bluetooth mode ONLY, which needs to be made more clear, however the actual battery life whilst using the 2.4GHz (which is recommended for gaming) is an incredible 80 hours of use which is the longest of all the lightweight wireless mice. Along side the huge battery it comes with USB-C fast charging, which not only gets you back in the game quickly it's also a high quality paracord like cable. This cable means it feels as close to wireless as possible, other, more expensive mice still use old thick rubber cabling which definitely hampers the experience whilst charging. The build quality is exceptional as per usual for Steelseries including an IP54 rating with 80m TTC Gold switches that are one my new favourites, no creaks with the shell, however the DPI button can be activated whilst unnaturally holding the top and bottom of the mouse and squeezing (I dont see any moment when you would hold a mouse like this), this cannot be reproduced by pushing on the mouse into a pad. A few areas where people have had problems with the Aerox is the feet included and the sensor placement, the feet shape is an unconventional circle, with one in each corner, there are reports of scratching and lint build up over time, I personally have experienced none of these problems and found them to have a great glide, being one of the best stock feet I've used. The sensor is also unconventional in it being placed back further than most, the one time I have noticed this being an issue is if you lift from the front first as it will track for slightly longer than normal due to the sensor staying closer to the pad for longer. Otherwise from general use I had no problems with tracking or flicking when compared to mice with a more conventional placement.Overall: If you love the rival 3 shape, you want wireless, you want lightweight, its a no brainer. If you have not tried the rival 3 and are unsure about the shape, its great for all grip styles, with a strength in claw and a good size for fingertip for all hand sizes, if you palm I can recommend it for smaller-medium hands, large hands may not find it wide enough. Grips and sizes aside, its a feature packed mouse, with great build quality and comparable specs to mice that are 1.5 times the price, at £100 its a steal.

This is the best MMO style mouse out there. My Naga was barely a yea old, had many issues that I had to break the mouse to fix it where as this one amazing value for the money.Lighting is fine but I turned mine off.Weight is amazingShape and feel amazing

4.0 out of 5 stars Best All Around Mouse

    T.A. · 21 March 2024

🎨 Aesthetic - ⭐⭐⭐⭐The mouse looks amazing with its light and sleek design, the honeycomb design allows the RGB to shine though to perfectly and displays its bright and vibrant colours throughout the mouse. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars due to the amount of dust that can accumulate in the mouse due to the holes though out if not maintained often.💪 Build Quality - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The mouse is both lightweight and durable, which makes this mouse perfect for the long gaming session. This mouse is also good for competitive games such as CSGO due to its lightweight, making it easier to flick left to right, with the help of the stock mouse skates which allows the mouse to glide effortlessly.🛠️ Practicality -⭐⭐⭐For a wired mouse all I can give is a 3 star. However this does not mean that this mouse is not any less practical than any other wired mouse, however I do think that any wireless mouse will beat this one in this section as there are no wires in the way whilst gaming, which in some competitive games can make a difference,💲 Price - ⭐⭐⭐⭐For the price I think that this mouse is a good pick, its light weight, ergonomic for both handed people and comes with rgb and reprogrammable buttons, this is a very good mouse and would buy again if it was on sale or not.Overall Score - 26/30

fast, light, nice to the touch

1.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight and Comfortable, but Lacks Essential Grip Support

    J. · 6 September 2024

I like the Aerox 5 wireless mouse, especially for its lightweight design and suitability for palm grip users. The RGB lighting is a nice touch for those who care about it, though it doesn't really matter to me since I'm not much of a gamer. While the mouse itself is easy to grip and comfortable to hold, it lacks plastic grips or grip stickers, which is a major downside. To save on weight, these were left out, but this causes the mouse to slip on the sides during use. For me, grip paper is essential.Unfortunately, the mouse does not come with grip stickers, and while they sell grip paper on their website, it’s only compatible with the Aerox 3. Customer support even recommended buying the Aerox 3 grip paper and cutting it to fit, which is disappointing given the price of this mouse. The correct grip stickers should have been included in the box or at least made available at a more reasonable price — not £12!Update after a 10 days:After extended use, this mouse fails to meet basic user needs. The lack of grip is a major issue — it slips out of your hand far too easily. No grip tape is supplied, and there isn't even an option available for this model, which significantly reduces its usability. This is a critical flaw because it completely negates the benefit of the lightweight design. When the mouse slips, you end up gripping it tighter, which puts unnecessary strain on your hand and defeats the entire purpose of having a light mouse meant to enhance comfort during long sessions.Additionally, after comparing other mice on Bolo, I found several similar-looking options, which I suspect are made with almost identical parts, offering the same functionality at a fraction of the price. Many of these cheaper options even come with a charger included, which also addresses another problem — the Aerox 5’s disappointing battery life.To make matters worse, the bottom pad near the sensor was misaligned right out of the box, and I had to fix it myself, pointing to quality control issues. At this point, I can no longer recommend the Aerox 5. The absence of grip pads, poor battery life, and apparent quality assurance problems make it feel overpriced and exploitative. This mouse would be reasonable at £25-£30, but certainly not worth £100.Avoid.

    Great gaming mouse

I love it, way better than my last mouse.

    Quickly became my daily driver

    C.B. · 27 September 2022

I work remotely and play games in my off time, so I spend a lot of time using a mouse, obviously. I've had the Aerox 3 wireless in white for almost 4 months now, and it became my daily the first day I got it. I enjoy trying out different pc peripherals for my setup when I can, my mouse being the most common change, so I've actually tried quite a few gaming mice at this point. The search for a new mouse has all but stopped since I bought this one. It's not the holy grail or anything but it's everything I want and need in a mouse, gaming or otherwise. It's super super lightweight, slim and not too tall while not feeling like a mini version, and no crazy extra buttons just the two on the side which is all I need for my gaming. The holes/pattern are nice/not too rough as well, though not something I was looking for one way or the other. The sensor feels awesome in game, on par with any other top fps mouse out there, and I've had zero connectivity problems at all. The software (steelseries GG) for controlling rgb, changing dpi etc. is pretty good, no complaints (Some kind of software is essentially necessary for all the top "gaming" mice at this point anyway). I do turn the rgb fully off though so I can't exactly speak for that. The battery life is fantastic, probably better for me personally since I do turn off the rgb. I charge it about once a week and that's usually only when I see the battery bar go from 3/3 to 2/3, never had the battery die on me. USB-C cable to charge is also fantastic, enough said there. Scroll wheel has a nice rubber texture and good bumpy feel when scrolling, & it's easy to feel the individual bumps if you need to in game. I think that covers literally everything on this mouse (didn't say dpi button because it's deactivated on every mouse I own). I got this on sale for $70ish (I think), pretty sure it retails for $99, which is fine. If you want a budget mouse you'll get one. This is on the lower end of prices for the top wireless fps mice, which this mouse is one of. AND it comes in white, which is a deal breaker for me nowadays, I'd recommend this mouse to any gamer 10/10.

    So light

Une souris que j’apprécie énormément par sa taille et son poids. J’ai racheter le même modèle quelque année plus tard après que le bouton molette s’est mit à bug. Sinon avant sa, je n’ai jamais eu de problème avec la deuxième
