    I am happy with this LED transformer, it was smaller than expected, I needed it to replace a transformer that powered ME16 halogen lights. I was advised to swap the halogen for LEDS by an electrician but the original transformer didn’t work with them. My concern was that because the lights were switched by a motion controller and I have had issues in the past using LEDS in that configuration, anyway this setup works great.

    I had a power supply board fail on a LED light bar I've had for several years for live band gigs. I needed a replacement that would fit the dimensions within the fixture and be able to supply 12V DC at least 2.5 Amps, preferably with some headroom so as not to strain the supply. Therefore this 5 Amp unit seemed a better choice than the similar 2.5 Amp version. It required some mounting holes to be drilled, but was simple to connect and I had the lighting fixture up and running again in under an hour.

    This arrived yesterday and I installed today. I had had issues with led lamps which I was using to replace MR16 halogen. Interference was wiping out the televison (not uncommon apparently). Using an led driver rather than a transformer solved the problem. Full marks for this device - problem solved.BUT the terminals are far too small and have no depth so connecting cable was an unecessary fiddle. It took ages, far longer than it should have done and cramped up in the loft space didnt help.
